I don't think the Taliban militia was formed until like 1993 or so, i'll have to check back on that, so 1991 we would see a united Afghanistan.
Afghanistan hasnt been united since the russians invaded them.

Colin Powell was the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff not a field general. He should be included only in events. Putting Colin Powell in MDS would be like putting George Marshall in HOI. The field commander of the American forces in the Persian Gulf was Norman Shwarzkopf (not sure about the spelling but I'll check back with that).

I thought Colin Powell was a field general during Gulf War and then became Chairman and then Sec of State?

Schwarzkopf was field general. Powell was chairman then sec of state. The reason you think that he was on the field is because he did all of the planning. He said, "ok Norman, I want you to attack here tomorow at 18:00 and I want it done in less than 2 hours. I don't care how you do it, but get it done. He did the strategizing, but didn't control the battle itself like Schwarzkopf did.

Ok, you're both added. Right now, you can just script events to whatever countries you want. Look in the Meta thread, that's the easiest way to find the event threads.

I'll add you as a researcher as well Lars, look in Estonianzulu's (He's also a researcher) and work with him if you like, he've made a list over what he's going to find out. But he's gone now, so you can step in for him if you'd like.

Welcome! :)
