Thanks. My game is close to that year. I wonder if I should wait a few hours to play with it. No Roman Empire but I have Empire of Hispania.
That will be awesome. Aztecs from one side, Mongols from the other and the resurrected empire in the middle. ^_^

Looks like gamers gate has it available now. If i buy it and i have everything elae from steam will it still work?
Plz dont release on Steam too late, else my productivity friday will be like that of an alcoholic.

If it's steam, it's almost a certainty it'll be released once Valve "refreshes" their merchandise, ie. when the daily deals are done, ie. around 5pm GMT-0.Plz dont release on Steam too late, else my productivity friday will be like that of an alcoholic.

According to the 1.08 patchnotes it won't run right now, looks like the culture file for the aztecs is included in the patch and not the dlc.
I'll wager there is going to be a sticky in about and hour that announces the patch is released today and that steam will follow shortly.
I have read the characters files a little and in general I think DLCs only contain music and graphics and no events, cultures, or characters. So when a DLC introduces new events you need to patch first so they can be used. Otherwise you just have the graphics.
I have read that steam versions and gamersgate versions do not run in combo. I just bought the gamersgate version and update is still unavailable. Oh well, seems I need to wait a few more hrs. Looks like another sleepless night tonight

This is a problematic decision by whichever company made their copy -theirs- rather than just having CK2. Turns me off steam a lot, that and modding is impossible on Beth games for instance because they encrypt their exe's.

Buying it now, can't wait to mix up the old ireland or easy west coast games, looking forward to it. Will we see the Mongols vs the Aztecs in a race for Venice? I feel an ultra hard mod coming on for a multiple invasion scenario
