The incredible importance of a good focus tree

This is something I just thought of today. I have beaten several major countries on a world conquest mode (elite, veteran), using my way or some Youtuber's guide. I have also inadvertently followed the vanilla focus tree without taking it too seriously. But now, I replayed Japan and just defeated China. What next? I don't know. Sure, I can follow my previous ways of conquering the world, but it would be quite boring. A good focus tree allows you to choose different alternative paths so there is a lot of replay value. For example, for the Japan campaign, the first step is straightforward. Conquer China -- this is the first and only branch, military wise. What next? Either the Northern strike strategy or the Southern strike strategy. So, you can play the Japan campaign in two different ways. From each branch (either Northern strike or Southern strike), there can be even more branches (Invade Philippines first or Bypass it, for the Southern Strategy), now you can play the Japan campaign in at least four different ways (must be interesting). There could be a third way after you conquered China, like invading Italy (instead of Southern or Northern Strike strategy) based on some historical probabilities (for example, Japan joined the Allied in WW1), then you have bonus for land forces to fight the Axis once you go down that path.

So, Paradox, please come up with more detailed focus trees. I would gladly pay for them, if I have the $$$. ;)

Japan's focus tree is quite lacking compared to others, but there are literally two focuses called "Invade Phillipines" or "Bypass Phillipines" that are currently in Japan's focus tree. Are you playing on an older version of the game?

What squeaks at me from the current Japanese tree is the decision to attack only Phillipines when they could perfectly have implicated the rest of Southeast Asia, that is, to have included the British Malay or Dutch East Indies in that decision. Since the Philippine attack was indispensable for the Japanese in that operation to make Southeast Asia and it was not an autonomous decision of Japanese operational plan to make the resources of Southeast Asia and I do not understand why the developers of the game did so

Another major problem of the approach trees is the section of the land and air military approaches of the German tree, having serious deficiencies in its design, in comparison to other powers of its level.
