Well I think its easyer to keep this game more interesting as there are no personal friends thats why Iam fine that someone else takes Spain.

I am worried by the lack of player diplomacy in this game; all the conflicts have been England vs. France only so far!

Doesn't the Muscowians, Ottomans and Spanish have anything to say about the growing Austrian menace?

Also, statements from the Austrian emperor are expected; have been expected for a long time!


I said in the first post: roleplay in this game.

The real leaders of that era wouldn't have just watched the growth of the Austrian imperialism!!

Please visit the diplo thread and update your embassy once in a while. I wouldn't want to keep saying to people by ICQ that they should check the Diplo thread.

To talk out of character, it's not their core province. They have no right for it.

No such history exists where Venice was Austrian. We are roleplaying, remember that.

Now as this game should have some roleplaying of countries I realy dont like when people say "If you cant take expansion play SP" well as king of England I should be worried when Spain takes all of north america where England too has goals to achieve so expressing Englands concern and geting statements like that realy dont belong in this game.

I dont know if France dont have any ambitious toward north america and if it dont have then I understand if king of France publicly laughts to king of England. On the other hand if France have ambitious toward new land Iam sure France would have tryed to get Englands maps, Bretagne or something else when England expresses his concerns toward Spains groving power in north america especially when relation between England and France has been quit sour.

If you want to conquer the world do it but if other rulers tell they are concerned and might do later somethig to it do not mock them.

First of all I would like to say that I am very sorry if Rezag
got offended with my words. I didn't mean something insulting.
I just wanted to say that if you were a real man (not a child)
you should do your best fighting for your interests instead
of complaining that your competitor is pushing you out of an
area. I didn't expect that you were so touchy.

Sorry if you got offended all the same. I should say that more
politely.

It sounds like you trying to bribe the King of France.

Well, my answers are the following

1) France is strong enough to retake Bretagne unconditionally,
without payment or giving some promises to England

2) Since you confirmed that Spain had already conquered
the most part of North America, your British maps are worthless
for France

3) Spain is much better for France as an ally than as an enemy
because only Spain can be an effective ally in the case of a war
vs Austrian menace, Sikakoria so much spoke about. Weak
England cannot be a helpful ally in that situation. That's why
I helped Spain to crush their rebels, trying to involve them
into the alliance with France.

Next session

I am not sure if I will be allowed to participate in your
campaign in the following sessions (Seems some players
disliked my way of playing), but if I could continue to sub
for France I would continue that successful foreign policy
of cooperation with Spain.

This session was very short, only 10 years (we had only
1 crash though), I didn't have enough time to do much
for France. But I could considerably improve French naval
technologies and infrastructure, consequently increased
French montly and annual income.

Anyway I believe that Franco-Spanish alliance would be
invincible and usefull both for France and Spain.

Of course, this is just my private opinion. It surely doesn't
oblige Sikakoria to do something in that direction.

Sikakoria certainly has his own plans about Spain, England,
Austria, etc. Plans we are not aware of.
