The HYW scenario, what a disappointment

England and France are not at war and England has no claims on French territory it doesn't already own, let alone the French crown. The crusade expectations are so high that they turn everybody into a heretic sinner in no time, even though the crusading period should be over AFAIK.

Well since the scenario starts in 1337, then the crusades should most definitly be over, as Winkelried said.

Yeah, just checked again, and the King of England doesn't have a single claim on the tiniest spec of French land. Wouldn't make for much of a 100 Years War...

Yea I was quite shocked when I saw this as the HYW is one of my favorite wars to study so I was looking forward to playing this one. However I’m confident Paradox will rectify this in a coming patch, hopefully 1.02.
