Finally, we have enough ducats to build a fantastic fine arts academy! This will be a great blow to christians, to see us Hussites bring some of the finest artists in Prague!

Our great leader, Vladislav II, has managed to bring Franconia under our rule. They will now pay tribute and follow us blindly.

Austria has attacked one of our neighbor while we warned them not to do so. This gives us the perfect opportunity to strike. Our amy is strong and theirs is in shamble due to their previous wars. The light is on our side! ATTACK!

First Hussite-Austrian War

We are launching an all-out attack on our southern neighbors. We only have one regret... to attack our former allies Bavaria who sided with the austrians. We have great plans for Bavaria, we must convert them to our faith! Maybe, this way, they will follow us in their hearts.

The armies of Austria and Swabia are weak but the bavarians are strong. We will need to advance on their lands at once and crush their regiments.

They are waiting for us with over 40,000 men and we launch an attack with 2 regiments. Our first regiment to arrive is our 1st Hussite Army consisting of 18,000 cavalries, followed by our 2nd Army of Faith consisting of 20,000 Infantries and 30 cannons (wich we discovered during our time of peace). We are surprised to see the bavarian army fight so well and we build reinforcement in Prague for the next wave to attack. This is a ruthless battle but they are quickly short on reinforcements and we take the upper hand.

Some small austrian regiments tries to break our sieges on bavarian lands but they are too weak and too few. Our ally, Franconia, is taking Swabia by force and quickly destroy their forts.

On August 4th 1481, Bavaria is a shadow of it's former self and surrenders to our might. We forcefully convert them to our faith and take Ansbach from them as a punishment.

Meanwhile, our armies consisting of 4 well-armed regiments are sieging and assaulting Austria. Franconia is fighting in the west swiss lands of Schwyz while we are destroying Austria on it's eastern front. Victory is within our grasp!!!

On March 18th 1482, Austria is down and they are begging for forgiveness. The toll will be high as they give us Odenburg, Ostmarch and Salzburg.

Magdeburg is finally converted. We are in great positions and Europe is trembling before our religious might!

Soon after we conquered their land, the people of Salzburg discovered and converted to our state religion. They are now under our lead!

We are awfully pleased with Franconia today! They are converting their people to the Hussite faith! One province we will not need to pay priests for conversion!​
 
I must say, I am jealous of your exceptional years. ;) Nice conversions going on and an excellent war fought against Austria. Not so big, white and blobby so much, eh? :D

We contacted Wurtemberg to let them know we would be happy to have them with us in our next wars. They accept immediatly. They know who will we be the winning team!

Heretics in Ansbach. This will be a great opportunity to cleanse our province of those christians fanatics. Let them eat dirt by the hands of the 1st Hussite Army.

Those prove no challenge for our mighty regiment and are quickly defeated. The faith is stronger than anything and they did'nt knew it.

Our researchers have discovered new ways to improve our infrastructures. This will greatly improve our nation's productivity and give us more ducats to convert german lands!

Odenburg is now ours! As we are taking more and more christian lands, we are seeing some form of faith similar to ours. They do not think exactly like us but are worth having around as their ideas seems to converge with ours.

Our armies are now fully equiped with arquebuses. This will defenitly give us the upper hand in future wars!

The Hussite lands of Franconia are now directly under our rule! all Hussites under one banner! Hurray!


We are now looking to get a nearby Center of Trade and gain access to the sea! we need a port to develop a navy worthy of our faith!

Some of our northern provinces governors have made deals with Pommern without our consent. We do not accept this kind of behavior. It is time to show our might to those christians. They are currently in an alliance with Mecklenburg, who owns their meclenburgian center of trade and Poznan in polish territories. This war will be a blessing. We can take a coastal provinces and bring a german center of trade under our rule. This is a chance we cannot let go.


Wurtemberg will follow in our war!

The (really) minor Hussite-Pommern war

June 4th 1502

This is a war that was won quickly. Not worth mentioning. The combined Pommernarian-Mecklenburgian armies did not even prove to be a challenge. Our ally, Wurtemberg, took Poznan from Mecklenburg while we assaulted and sieged all their forts. Within 2 years, they begged for forgiveness and the war was won. We gave Poznan to our faithful ally and kept Hinterpommern for us, finally giving us a coastal province. Mecklenburg and Pommern were forced to become our vassals and we now have our hands on a german center of trade.

This war was short and gave us great rewards. We celebrate tonight!

Our spies have arrived with informations on Hungary. They are the laughing-stock of Europe! While everyone is starting to use artillery and arquebus, those dregs are still stuck in medieval times! Those would surely be easy to squash...

Hinterpommern must be converted right away! We are feeling something is coming in the christian lands... Some foreign teacher is filling the people's minds with new ideas. It reminds us of our great teacher, Jan Hus, in distant times....

All in a ll a very creditable German state these days, solidifying and centralising and generally throwing its weight around :)
 
The (very very short) Hussite-Bavarian War

Wurtemberg is declaring war on our ancient ally, Bavaria. Wurtemberg is loyal to our cause and we shall enter the war.. for our own benefits.

Bavaria is currently not allied with anyone and is an easy prey!

After a quick siege of their capital, they surrender completely to us.

Hinterpommern is the new province to follow our faith! More and more, we are hearing of a teacher named Martin Luther who preaches not far from here. More and more of european countries are listening to his voice. Oh Jan, we miss you so much, our teacher...

We heard of a new land in the west discovered by portuguese ships. They claim this land is theirs and a treaty has been signed...

We do not care for the faith of those western barbarians, our target is europe and we will not falter!
