Pretty funny since I've lately been referring to Fylkja Aleta as the Raven Empress and described her as having a fondness for ravens. Maybe that could play into the Tianxia Jomsvikings' story somehow.
Mabey the Scandinavian Royal Family could claim to be descendants of Odin like how in OTL the Japanese Emperor clamed to be a descendant of the Shinto God Amaterasu who is the goddess of the sun and be known informally as the Raven Dynasty?

I don’t see that happening. Demigods aren’t really much of a thing in Norse mythology from what I remember. Hence why Harappa Hardrada claimed to be Odin’s prophet, not his son or anything.

I guess that makes sense. Mabey the raven could just be the symbol of the royal family?
That could work. Would explain why the Norse raven appears on flags and royal symbols (and my thread intros).

Whelp, WW4 is about to start. Han and the Commitee are really determined to get everyone killed, sad how Fusang has bought into Han and Zhao’s lies rather than defend the Eimericas from Jerusalemite aggression. I guess the Eimericas may be doomed to end up like India now.

That scene with Wilhelmina calling out Zhao’s bs and getting him kicked was really hype, Wilhelmina really shines in this scene, she would make a great Kaiserin. That Ace Attorney reference there was really nice as well.

Hopefully other Jerusalemite allies like South Japan and Nepal get kicked out too. Of course, Han and his allies like Korea still having a voice on the UN might be a problem.

The fact we see so many national economies haven‘t made the transition to electric cars and stuff really doesn’t bode well for the environment once Jerusalem falls. I wonder be surprised if Earth’s terrible state by the start of Stellaris ends up being a major reason for colonization of other planets and Star systems.
That was CaptainAlvious, who just did the opening crawls. I don't feel like doing the sequel trilogy as I would have to learn more about the Yuuzhan Vong and the Legends continuity and I don't have time to read dozens of novels (and I doubt online summaries would do their plots justice). I've by now seen the First Order reimagined video but I don't think I've watched the New Republic one yet.
Yeah, same here. I don’t have much knowledge on the Yuuzhan Vong and I need to find time to watch the shows I haven’t seen yet like Rebels and Bad Batch, so it will be awhile before I get ideas for a full fledged sequel trilogy summary. I have seen both videos through and I think they are interesting.
Kind of a mix of both. Thea wants it to have an area of effect like an EMP pulse but also directly meddle with the software like a virus.
Hope she’s able to make it before Jerusalem and China get everyone killed.
I wanted his breakdown to be more dramatic (like antagonists in Ace Attorney breaking down after their plots are exposed), but I felt that would have been too over the top.
On that note, I know I asked about Ace Attorney a few years ago here, but do you think you could write an outline for that series like you did with the Xeno franchise/FF7, Persona and Valkyria Chronicles?
They probably have a worse situation than the real life Zainichi as they were former conquerors who became second class citizens under the people they formerly ruled over. There's a lot more bad blood between Koreans and Japanese here due to centuries of Korean rule in Japan.
Quite unfortunate, especially since the Korean government doesn’t really care about them and just want the land. Pretty sure the South wouldn’t like Chinese, Mongols or Japanese Christians in their land either. At least the Ainu got their independence fairly earlier on and didn’t experience decades of discrimination and eventually a genocide done against them like OTL Bangladesh, while the North is currently on the route to becoming more pluralistic and democratic than their totalitarian Jerusalemite aligned southern neighbor that hates ethnoreligious minorities. I'm really rooting for the North and Ainu to win a fight against the South, despite China not helping them much.

Wilhelmina hit him with the Uno reverse card.:p

Fusang, funny enough, has been like this far longer than China. Even back during the Nahua spring days, it had a nationalist-leaning government which violently cracked down on its protests, causing them to escalate into insurgencies. The government did step back a little bit, and the destruction MSC caused weakened its power and allowed it to join the EF, but it still maintained that nationalist stance.
That scene with Wilhelmina calling out Zhao’s bs and getting him kicked was really hype, Wilhelmina really shines in this scene, she would make a great Kaiserin. That Ace Attorney reference there was really nice as well.
It was time someone fought back against Zhao. For the last twenty years, he's been encouraged, celebrated, and allowed to spread his toxic worldview and effectively bully leaders he didn't like. He's spent those twenty years thinking he's a master negotiator and diplomat who can expose the contradictions and hypocrisy of mainstream leaders. Now Wilhelmina has become exactly that exposer of contradictions and hypocrisy he so desperately thought he was, and he's the one being put on the pedestal. He hates it.
Hopefully other Jerusalemite allies like South Japan and Nepal get kicked out too. Of course, Han and his allies like Korea still having a voice on the UN might be a problem.
Ironically, two nations that aren't even UN members completely control everything the UN talks about and can do.

I wonder be surprised if Earth’s terrible state by the start of Stellaris ends up being a major reason for colonization of other planets and Star systems.
At this rate, it wouldn't be surprising if the wealthy elite of the committee and Han's regime became the only ones with the resources to actually go to space, leaving behind everyone else to die in a war they started.

I did come around to getting the Megacorp DLC and incorporating Megacorp content recently...

I watched Rebels and Bad Batch a few months ago, and right away the entire premise of Bad Batch has been destroyed by my prequel rewrites putting the clones on the Separatist side. Rebels can survive as it's more of its own thing and isn't dependent on the clones.
Hope she’s able to make it before Jerusalem and China get everyone killed.
Let's hope she doesn't die from sleep deprivation before then...
On that note, I know I asked about Ace Attorney a few years ago here, but do you think you could write an outline for that series like you did with the Xeno franchise/FF7, Persona and Valkyria Chronicles?
Not sure about that. The streamer I'm following for Ace Attorney content has only played the Great Ace Attorney games (set in the Meiji era) and I don't want to look up an LP of the original games before they get to them (as I'm too busy to actually play them right now). Maybe I'll reconsider in the future.

Zhao getting baited himself then getting his ass kicked in terms of debating will never cease to make me chuckle, even as I reread it again. Such a shame that the events the follow are now full on escalation. Han's gonna see the world burn for the sake of China becoming the only world power, and no doubt Elias will be taking this as an insult and attempt to one-up that glory-ridden fool.

This sounds like a potential prologue to the 2013 movie Elysium staring Matt Damon in were Earth had gone to Hell in a handbasket with the rich establishing a space station in orbit around Earth called Elysium with Med-Bays that can cure all types of ailment's like cancer.

Well we are only three decades away from 2077 so maybe we will get a Cyberpunk world after all.

Seems like Vietnam in Srivijaya is the last remaining Sinosphere state that’s sane, as we haven’t much about nationalism taking root there, even through they are busy fighting neo equalists.

The equalist regime of the early 80s (it happened during Wilson’s imperialist escapades) probably was the catalyst for Fusang’s shift to the right, with Wilson’s encouragement to counter the Soviets. Yet another unfortunate outcome the Reich caused.
This sounds like a potential prologue to the 2013 movie Elysium staring Matt Damon in were Earth had gone to Hell in a handbasket with the rich establishing a space station in orbit around Earth called Elysium with Med-Bays that can cure all types of ailment's like cancer.
…or they just flew to Mars and build the Holy Terran Empire, only it’s the Holy Terran Corporation now.

I wouldn’t consider Vietnam a Sinosphere state at this point despite having a Chinese-style dynasty before, since it’s embraced its Southeast Asian roots and Srivijaya ties.

The equalist regime of the early 80s (it happened during Wilson’s imperialist escapades) probably was the catalyst for Fusang’s shift to the right, with Wilson’s encouragement to counter the Soviets. Yet another unfortunate outcome the Reich caused.
Yeah, I don’t think the Reich’s geopolitical reputation will ever recover after what Jerusalem did domestically and intentionally and people begin seriously reflecting on the Reich’s history and previous foreign policy, which might benefit Han’s sinocentric narrative unfortunately.
I wouldn’t consider Vietnam a Sinosphere state at this point despite having a Chinese-style dynasty before, since it’s embraced its Southeast Asian roots and Srivijaya ties.
I guess I take it back then, the Sinosphere has no sane state then now. At least Asia and the Pacfic has hope on Srivijaya, Ryuku, the Ainu and (ironically since its republic was orginally formed by Pallulists overthrowing a democratic shogunate) North Japan.

I think a one off discussing Zheng He’s voyages could be interesting even if we talked about it earlier in this megacampaign. Also, I know CK2 briefly mentioned him in Ck2 along with EU4 briefly mentioning Ibn Battuta, but I wonder what the Travels of Marco Polo would be like in TTL, considering how the Mongol hordes outside East Asia like the Golden Horde had collapaed by then?

Not only that, but I think the rest of the world would accept nothing less than a post-committee Reich being completely disarmed if not outright split up into harmless pieces.

For the second time in a hundred years, the Sinosphere is marching towards authoritarianism.

I could do something for Zheng He. He's in a flavor event from CK2, and I do want to do one-offs for the important ones as well as some minor ones. Like I want to do a mini-arc on the hermetics' guild event chain where you go on a boat trip to Africa. Although I never got that because I played before that was added (or didn't have the DLC), that has a lot of story potential. Maybe I'll also do a mini-arc about Marco Polo. I'll have to look at screenshots from that era to see what realms and khanates he went through before reaching the Yuan Dynasty.

That sounds fun, maybe you could fit that hermetic guild event into Fredrich the Glorious’ reign like we discussed before in the context of him looking for cultist strong holds, maybe you could even use it to elaborte on the fate of Muslim Berbers and North African Arabs during the two Fredrichs’ crusades and the Pagan Resurgence (ironically including the spread of Judaism in Ethopia and the Middle East, through there was still the rise of Malian conquests) in Africa. Marco Polo sounds interesting, through other pre Age of Exploration explorers like Ibn Battuta might be to see fun mini arcs or one offs for as well.

Any other Ck2 and EU4 that's been released since this AAR's Ck2 and EU4 segments you think would have effected the story had they been in the game when you writing this megacampagin?

I like the idea about searching for cultist strongholds. I was actually thinking of working in a cult stronghold located in west Africa (near where the ancient human spaceship was found) which the Kaiser would stumble across. I was also thinking of working in old legends like King Solomon's mines, which would be based on ancient human ruins the cult has made its stronghold. Could also explore the relationship between Friedrich and Gunhilda as well as the Pagan Resurgence's effects on western Africa.

I am considering one-offs for important explorers, not only scripted or historical ones like Eimerich and Ibn Battuta but also randomly generated ones which rose to prominence like Wolfram Ferdinand and Reinhard Gabriel. I might also extend this to generals and admirals like the Johann family that backed Princess Sophia during the Anarchy. Of course I won't forget about the conquistadors too.
Any other Ck2 and EU4 that's been released since this AAR's Ck2 and EU4 segments you think would have effected the story had they been in the game when you writing this megacampagin?
From pulling up the DLC features on the wiki, let's see:

Conclave's overhaul of vassal management, administrative laws, and council interactions would've spiced up the game in peacetime and avoided stuff like sitting around doing nothing during Saint Wilhelmina's 30 years of peace.

The Reaper's Due could have fleshed out epidemics and the Black Death instead of being something I tanked relatively easily because I had so much money I could just quarantine the entire Hohenzollern court until it ended. There seem to be events for solar eclipse panic (would play into Friedrich the Glorious's heliocentrism research in some way), "zombies" (could be a fun one-off...or angel shenanigans), and a "prophet of doom" (who could be a minor antagonist during the 13th Century Crisis).

Monks and Mystics obviously has the societies and loads of story potential outside the Hermetic Society.

Jade Dragon could have allowed me to bring China in earlier and adjust its 1066-1444 history to not be an almost exact copy of real life. I could have even had some Hohenzollerns head off to China, or some Chinese warlords invade Central Asia and India.

Holy Fury has coronations, sainthood, bloodlines, and artifacts. It's quite obvious what I could do with those. The revamped crusade mechanics would've made the crusades much more interesting instead of me just ordering the Pope to spam crusades every few years and then winning through overwhelming numbers. Then there's playable Hellenism which could've put Hellenic pagans on the same level as the other pagans who participated in the Resurgence. (As an aside, a future update will talk about the fate of Hellenic pagans in the modern day.)

Mandate of Heaven would again flesh out China more and formalize the multi-emperor system.

That's all I know for now. Got a list of any specific events you'd think would be great for one-offs and I didn't show in CK2/EU4?

Barring some supernatural events that probably won’t work well with the story you wrote, like the spawn of satan of immortality events, I can’t think of any more events from CK2 and EU4 right now other than maybe the Child of Destiny event and the Sunset Invasion event of the Aztecs bringing diseases with them, along with scholarly Muslim and Jewish figures like Ibn Khaldun and Maimonides. I sometimes do wonder how later DLCs or Ck3 adding the mechanic of fleshed out religious reformation or forming new faiths would’ve affected the Pagan Resurgence or the mending of the schism through. I agree with you that the Monks and Mystic content would make for very interesting storylines, especially when it comes to the early Kaisers’ conflict with the Worm.

Edit: Now that I’m looking over EU4 chapters as research for the Julie d'Aubigny biography I’m planning, I realize that the abolishing of slavery in 1700 could do with a one off fleshing that event more and having it make sense (especially when the Kaiserins of the 17th century implemented serfdom starting with Fredricha Augusta during the Fifty Years War and the Reich was in the middle of colonialism in the Eimericas, Africa and the Pacific), I always thought EU4 making that event (unless it was referring to the abolition of the slave trade and not slavery itself) and the construction of the Suez, Kiel and Panama canals available much earlier than when they happened in the timespan of Victoria 2 strange, even if they’ve been attempts to build something like the Suez canal since ancient times.

spawn of satan
Funny enough I might be able to make use of that (but for a non-Hohenzollern). I could do something that’s compliant with Supernatural’s depiction of the Antichrist.
Child of Destiny event
This one would be interesting, especially if it’s for a Hohenzollern heir. Or maybe even a Hohenzollern not in the line of succession.
Ibn Khaldun and Maimonides
Could be interesting subjects, particularly for one offs focused on academic pursuits instead of the standard political, military, and Worm stuff.
mechanic of fleshed out religious reformation or forming new faiths
Would go a long way towards making the reformed Romuva, Slavic, Tengri, and Suomenusko faiths not be almost carbon copies of each other. I do have something planned for Yavdian culture and Suomenusko beliefs in the immediate future though.

Victoria 3 has a lot of mechanics that could’ve helped immensely with working on the Metternich system.
abolishing of slavery in 1700 could do with a one off fleshing that event more and having it make sense (especially when the Kaiserins of the 17th century implemented serfdom starting with Fredricha Augusta during the Fifty Years War and the Reich was in the middle of colonialism in the Eimericas, Africa and the Pacific), I always thought EU4 making that event (unless it was referring to the abolition of the slave trade and not slavery itself) and the construction of the Suez, Kiel and Panama canals available much earlier than when they happened in the timespan of Victoria 2 strange, even if they’ve been attempts to build something like the Suez canal since ancient times.
I could see it.

I just remembered I could do something with the “Vikings vs Cthulhu” event chain too.

Agreed, I think it would cool for the one offs to focus on either overlooked figures when it does discusses military and political stuff or at least provide new depths to famous leaders and otherwise focus on intellectual cultural, philosophical and scientific advances when comes to things like the Reich’s Renaissances like the 12th century and the Enlightenment, kind of like Years of Rice and Salt since you’ve brought up that book before. I think a focus on women and minorities would be neat given the subject matter of this current arc and the Committee’s twisted view of history.

Don’t think this would work with the story, but I also think the Alexander the Great bloodline event chain would make for a cool one off as well.

Definitely. I do want some of the one offs to talk about important stuff like Hohenzollerns or the cult, but it would be nice to have a low stakes topic every now and then and flesh out cultures I haven’t talked about much.

I actually thinking of doing something with Alexander the Great’s bloodline, but I’m not sure what exactly or how. In real life Alexander had one son who was murdered at a very young age, and having the bloodline exist would mean throwing a wrench into history as there’s no way a son of Alexander would stay hidden if he survived to adulthood.
