A slight industrialisation of Austria and the war against Spain
Austria had attacked Spain in hope of acquiring some Italian lands and all seemed well, Austria won battle after battle with Karl leading the armies. Although after a terrible battle in Capitana Karl had passed away, killed by the Spanish musketeers. This event changed the tide of the war in Italy somewhat and Spain even felt bold enough to land in Istria, only to be chased out after a failed assault. Anyhow, war proggressed and France decided to join in. All seemed well and a stalemate had been accomplished in Italy so we could now focus on helping France in France. Spain had from nowhere gotten a somewhat big army and were able to resist the French attacks and they were even able to counter attack. After a few years of fighting Spain had defeated France utterly and were able to force a peace upon them. Austria now withdrew her forces and started to take up defensive positions in the Alps and behind Po. Now Spain offered a WP and we accepted, end of story.
Austrias inflation was skyhigh during this time and the Archduke decided that this needed to be fought in every possible way. It started with the promotion of several governors mainly in Italy and western Austria but will eventually spread to the eastern and more poor parts of the Empire. However, the Archduke couldnt resist building two shiny new weapon manufactories and so around 2.000 ducats were spent on this.
With the defeat of France Austria had saw her ally go down in flames and become seriously weakened. Also due to the Ottomans shaping up the fortresses in the Balcans Austria felt evermore isolated and alone. Austria was not able to stand completely on her own legs just yet and needed an ally to help her, this ally turned out to be in the north, Brandenburg. Some deals were made with them and a few months later Austria proposed an alliance with them. This alliance is going to increase the stability in Europe, mostly Central Europe. With increased stability and less wars economy will have a chance on growing and with that the wealth will also increase.
Although everyone did not support this alliance. The Czechs for instance opposed this very much as they had somehow gotten in to their minds that their freedom would be limited and their taxes would rise and so the Defenstration of Prague commenced. In 1618 Protestant Czechs started to execute officials and barricade streets. The Thien Army was quickly dispatched to Prague and quelled the rebellion and a few minor uprisings in the neighbouring provinces. This did not help things and tensions are still high as this is written. A few years later the Czechs once again made a bid for freedom although this rebellion was crushed even faster than the previous one had been.
Here is his best map, it is even so detailed one can see him and his army moving. The map shows South Africa and some of the west coast of Africa.

Bad Ischl
Bad Ischl was a farmer from the outskirts of Budapest who had a dream, his dream was to travel. The destination didnt matter, he was just plainly tired of Budapest. This dream came true when his parents died and he got adopted by the chief of the Austrian Map Drawing Institute. He grew up watching maps and after a few years he felt the urge to discover something new. He was so trusted in the Institude and amongst the scholars they gave him some 500 horses and arranged for a safe passage through the Ottoman Empire down to Nubia. He had great adventures during his journey and is perhaps the Austria that has travelled most in his lifetime. He travelled from Wien to Byzantion, to Cairo, to Ibo, to Karee and up to Malawi and drew maps of all these locations. When he had reached Lake Malawi he was exhausted so he thought he would take a dip in the lake and perhaps take a nap. What he didnt know was that man-eating crocodiles lived in the lake. Bad Ischl died 54 years old, his remains has never been found and are most likely inside a crocodile in the middle of Africa.Here is his best map, it is even so detailed one can see him and his army moving. Brandenburg 1621-1647
The tobacco company
Luckily Brandenburg had a long time of peace to develop and prosper. During 30 years Brandenburg developed it's web of trades and started to find new places for colonisation. A sacking of Netherlands were made together with Sweden adn then we found a nice Tobacco province in South America. We sent out colonisationers and soon it became the first Brandenburgean Colonial city across the Atlantic. A Diplomat from Spain soon came to make a claim on the province and nagotiations are held.
The war between infidels and Germans
Our southern neighbour and ally Habsburg Austria started to talk about an attack on Ottoman Empire but he didn't want the superior and most glorious troops in the world (Brandenburgs of course ^^) with him in the attack so we accepted his decision and the war begun. It started off nice for Hab but soon the war froze and no advances were made. A boring white peace was declared and soon peace prospered in Europe. But not for long...
Timbuktu converts and war is declared
People in Brandenburg were not aware of the French peoples hate against the protestant germans in Europe. Georg Wilhelm the king were getting old and had just retired from military service when a diplomat from France came and gave us the declaration of war. The man was executed of course. But later we sent a diplomat to HAB our ally for help. Brandenburg were taken by total suprise. It came another man to the palace to tell that Timbuktu had been converted to protestantism but that was not really important. Georg Wilhelm retired for his successor Joachim Wilhelm
The Franco-German War
The border guards were all killed when the newly elected King Joachim Wilhelm arrived with the army (which he had reorganized just before the war).
Soon French armies were pushed back into their homeland and the armies went back and forth. When HAB found its way to Paris which it captured Spain attacked. This was the moment Brandenburg had waited on. The new vassal state of Netherlands had Embargoed Brandenburgean merchants and Joachim Wilhelm hated the Dutch people more than anything else. A DoW were sent to NL and soon we captured and took 3 provinces to the east of NL. Our army was superior! At the time France had pushed back the front in France and Spaniards were marching in Italy for HAB to handle. A last push into France were made before the peace treaty were signed. Luxemburg to Brandenburg and Lazio+Elsass to HAB.
The war against Spain rages on but BB wants to find a solution to this

After consulting our closest advisors the only peace Austria can accept at the moment is a white peace. No territories will be given up should Austria not be soundly defeated.
If I got a dog and gave it a bottle of vodka it would paint better than you even though he was shaking his head while painting.
All I can say about the peace with OE is that looks can be decieving. How do you think I managed to decrease inflation with 0.4 while warring like I did?

how do you know it's not my dog full with Vodka who made it?
but it became a white spot so I thought it would be nice to paint in a little spaniard
Österreich Über Alles
The most glorious empire of Austria, ruled by the wise and all knowing house of Habsburg were a friendly and peaceful empire. They didnt wish anyone harm. This message however, were not taken seriously in Constantinople, the capital of the Ottoman Empire. They steadily increased the forts in the Balcans and posed an increasingly big threat to Austria and as Austria could not have an Ottoman Empire this powerful plans of an attack was made. The army were divided up in to three major Armeegruppen, each one led by a skilled leader, Von Wallenstein being the most skilled. When the time was right a declaration of war was made and after quickly assaulting two Hungarian forts the morale was at an all time high. However, the vast army of the Ottomans destroyed this morale by defending behind the Danube and in the mountains in the north. This was impossible to breach and thus diplomats were sent to Constantinople to negotiate a peace. This turned out to be a more successful war than first believed as the Ottomans agreed to give Austria a vast amount of ducats.
When the peace had been signed intelligence reports came in from France, describing how their latest troop movements and the army buildup. This could only result in one thing, namely a war against either Brandenburg or Austria. When an army of 80.000 Frenchmen marched against the Rhein the Archduke ordered an immidiate buildup of the army and 50.000 men under Piccolomini were sent to aid their German brothers in defending the Rhein. In the meantime, the army as it had been before the Ottoman war were restored and reinforcements arrived to Italy and the Rhein front. This immidiately resulted in a breakthrough by Montecuccoli in Italy and he got as far as France Comté before he was stopped and forced to retreat. After years of fighting a breakthrough in the northern front was possible and Piccolomini charged accross the Rhine with more than 100.000 men and took province after province until he got to Bretagne, which proved to be just a tad too much to take on with his tired army. He was sent back to the Rhein to recoupe and attempt a new attack. It was now, when Austria had around 9-10 WE that Spain decided to join on the same side as France. Their main attack consisted of an attack on Italy and the Archduke decided that a decisive campaign in France was needed and Piccolomini, along with 100.000 Brandenburger soldiers lead by Von Sparr defeated the French army in Elsass and continued in to France. A peace offer was now sent to France with demands of them giving up Lazio, Elsass and Luxembourg. This was accepted and one front, perhaps the most important one was closed. Piccolomini were now sent south to aid the Italian armies that hadnt got much attention due to France. After a medium scaled battle in the swamps of Ferarra the Austrian army were once again ready to go on the offensive.

The session began with Spain utterly at the mercy of the French armies. Rather than continue what appeared to be a futile struggle, Spain decided to accede to the French demands and begin the process of rebuliding the country.
The next few years were ones in which Spain expanded her colonial empire and trade.
Eventually war broke out between France and BB. Austria also joined in on the side of BB. The war raged on for quite a while, and fearing the collapse of France and the further growth of the German alliance, Spain decided to take a hand in the struggle, despite being less than completely prepared for a war. Our involvement in France proper was quite small, and mostly limited to dealing with rebels to free up more of the French army, and the decision was made for the main thrust to be in Italy.
Unfortunately, France, understandably exhausted by war with the German powers and England's opportunism was forced to yield three provinces, and a CoT to England. Spain therefore now fights alone in this struggle while France regroups. We only hope that the French King, does not commit suicide (leave the game).
Meanwhile, the King announced the Felipe doctrine, outlining Spanish areas of influence, namely Mexico, the Carribean, Central American, and South America. Foreign colonization of these areas will be looked on extremely unkindly, and nations are advised to respect this, on pain of Spanish embargos or war.
Meanwhile, the remainder of the European Netherlands will be released to France in exchange for Napoli. European nations are advised not to obstruct this, on pain of conflict with both crowns.
Negotiations with Sweden proved fruitful, and a general understanding was reached on the part of both crowns. In particular Spain will cede South Africa in exchange for some ducats. A non-aggression pact will also be honored, and a general understanding about spheres of influence has been reached.
Spain remains at war with Brandenburg and Austria. As far as the king understands, the war with Brandenburg will end, with the yielding of the BB province in South America in exchange for a cessation of the Spanish embargo.
However, no conclusion has been reached with Austria. A 2 province peace offer was rejected by the Austrian ambassador, and as a result, God willing, Austria will cede more.

Austria has God on their side and with him we cannot fail. It is you, Spaniards that will fail. The Spaniards are cowards and their battle morale is low, I fail to see how anything other than an Austria victory will happen.
aar rewards done, conversion of vijaya and chahar, conversion of the 2 provs bunka asks for, -1 inflation for abs and spain. also +3 nflation to myself for gold mines.
England AAR 1647 to 1665
here is my first AAR, I hope its good.
if any bonus i would like to have conversions of Scotland and Ireland (the biggest of course).
In 1647 we in England sat the next goals for ourselves for the next session:
1. Expand in North America.
2. Expand in Europe
3. Expand colonial power
4. Get a stronger army
These goals I had set, I thought of accomplishing by:
1. Lots of colonising and annexing Huron
2. by conquering the islands from Scotland
3. conquer something from probably Spain
4. make naval/land slider to about 5
We in the beginning were confronted with a continuing war on mainland Europe. We sympathised with Austria and Brandenburg but there was little that we could do. I asked to join the war but Austria wouldn’t let us. So I could do nothing more then spamming the CoT of both France and Spain. Because we had anticipated war with France we immediately started to expand our army both in the colonies as in England. I still thought France and Spain had an alliance.
So when the war didn’t come and my army just stood there, I thought: “let us attack Huron.” At that time I still had an alliance with Scotland, so I asked them to join the war against Huron and they refused giving me a Casus Belli. I hadn’t thought of that at first but it did come to me as a great opportunity to expand in Europe as well. The wars were finished quite fast because of our great leaders and good preparations. We got everything we wanted except for the Capital of Scotland.
In the mean time Spain was still fighting against Austria they were both having serious problem with war exhaustion and losses, Austria the worst because he was backstabbed by the Ottoman Empire. And because I want supreme power over North America, it was a great opportunity to transport my armies from Huron to the south, to conquer some Indian territories and Texas from Spain. We began the war and Spain almost instantly asked what my demands were. So I said:”those Indian territories and Texas.” His reply was:”take what you need.” So I actually lost very few soldiers. That was good because my army had to grow and become lots stronger.
Overall I think I did very well: I achieved all my goals, did it by plan and are ready for the next session. The one thing I do want to do in the next session is drive back Ottoman empire and bring help to with Brandenburg and Austria. Because If we don’t help Europe, and with that I, wont be safe.

I never asked you not to join, the only one I didnt ask to join the war was Spain when he said something about attacking OE. I even asked you to send me money at one point but you didnt even answer. In Austria you are not considered a friend. Actually, you are considered more of an enemy, you have made opportunistic attacks in my war against France, riding on the success of the Austrian troops and leaders, you attacked after I had gotten to Paris and taken it. You did the same with Spain, when Spain had gotten like 7 WE or so you attacked again and quickly peaced. I advise you to fight your own wars from now on, you wont make many friends this way.

Im really sorry if i have offended you in any way but my army is absolute shit. The only wars I would ever win is against non-human if I wasnt preparing for 10 years. And when I attacked spain, i didnt know what the warscore was and i didnt care much either, because I would eventually anyway and i had built up 100k army so i would win it any too. Spain was just smart to give me the colonial possesions i wanted.

The war score had goen from being at -55 to +4 in a matter of months and the Archduke was very happy. This happiness would be gone soon and instead disappointment took over as the major feeling. Just when things looked as brightest the Ottomans attacked. The Archduke was under the firm belief that the Turks had a NAP with us, but apparently NAPs arent respected by heathens, they do not have any decency either it seems. When Austria was attacked they had around 100.000 soldiers, most of them fighting in Italy and 12 WE. Armies were quickly dispatched to northern Austria and fought some bloody battles with the Turks but were not able to break their lines. Austria could not break this deadlock yet as Montecuccoli was still trapped in Italy, behind the Ottoman siege in Tirol. The minute this siege was liften Montecuccoli slipped past and joined the main army in München. With the help of the bravest soldiers in the history of Austria the Ottomans were pushed back to the pre-war border but bad rolls forced Montecuccoli to withdraw back to Steiermark and after a fierce battle there, which reduced his forces to a mere 11k peace was signed. 3 provinces and military access were given up to the Ottomans. Now Spain was peaced, 4 provinces were given up to them. Now France attacked.

The King of Prussia!
After a long talk with the Swedish king resulted in a province swap between the largest city in Africa to Sweden and the kingdom of Prussia to Brandenburg. People cheered and praised their good monarch Friedrich Wilhelm
The Iberian adventure
First Brandenburg did in 1647 was sending Von Sparr to the Iberian peninsula with an army of 70k soldiers in an attempt to force a WP with Spain.
It started of as it was meant to be and with HAB advances in Italy we soon had positive WS. Here I hoped Spain would agree on a white peace but it didn't happen and then Spainish armies from Italy started showing up in Spain. Von Sparr was utterly defeated and the army annihalated. Brandenburg and Austria had been to war for many many years now.
And it was not to be ended within the next 10-15 years either.
Heathen turks use the advantage
Soon Ottoman Empire attacked Austria. Austria invited Brandenburg to the fight and Brandenburgish people didn't like this and revolts started to spring up everywhere within Brandenburg. Anyway a force of 70k was sent south in an attempt to stp the heathens but unfortunately they arrived too late. Half of Austria was controlled by the turks and Austra itself was in ruins. France started to plot against Brandenburg and a big amount of troops were seen on the other side of the border. With sorrow Friedrich sent home his troops from our brothernation Austria.
The people scream for peace but then it's France's turn to attack.
The people started revolting but now Friedrich had to build troops. He conscripted an army of 200k to guard the Rhine. Everyone availiable were got an armor and a musket. All mercenaries we could afford were built and no research were made, all money went to the treasury. France advanced quickly but got stopped in Rhine. There were some battles back and forth but mostly the armys were locked. Then France came up with a nice idea of ferrying troops to northern Germany. The BBish fleet was pure crap and defeated quickly. But because of the naval investments we saw where the french were to land their troops and we forced them to flee through Sweden.
Somewhere in the war France gets the nice idea of annexing the Netherlands.
We tried to take advantage of it and soon Holland had a nice Brandenburgean flag. Then the first breakpoint in the war came. 150k French troops killed the 70k germans. Derfflinger, our new leader, were in Kleves and had to move quickly to stop the gap that had been opened. Attrition killed many brave lives this month. France advanced but got stopped in Munster by Derfflinger and his army. The french retreated and Brandenburg sent an offer of white peace which was rejected. A few months later France made a last push over the Rhine. But this time I had Derfflinger ready early and French people died like flies. A glorious victory indeed. An offer from France wanting White peace was accepted and finally the tired troops of Brandenburg got time to rest. People are now happy but war will never be to far away it seems.

Here I was, having temper tantrum and trying to quit. But in the end I decided to stick around. Thinking what to do with my OE, I thought what I actually want. And what I wanted was in the hands of Austria.
So the Sultan thought, let there be army. Around this time France requested for aid, and well, it fitted well with my plans. For a while I built my armies, at the height I had 1.2-1.3 million men. I dowed Austria and 1 million men were used to attack, largest number of men Ive ever used to assault anyone. Quickly I advanced deep into Austria, but couldnt get the remaining few provinces in central europe where they were still recruiting men. Due to rules, I couldnt force peace them yet, and decided to commit myself less until we had been at war for 5 years. After a while of stab hitting tho, me and Absolut game to an agreement, and Austria lost 3 provinces to OE, including Venice.
For 5 years nothing really happened in OE again, but once the truce was over with Austria, I redowed immediately, by this time Austria was suffering so heavy WE, after a while he decided to peace me. 4 more provinces joined the glorious Ottoman Empire.

I didnt have any agreement with you whatsoever. I could not do anything at all and was forced to peace. I have learned a valuable lesson concerning agreements with you.
