The history book is a nice little feature. The writings can be a little choppy, but it helps with the role playing. I would love to see it include more details about the ruler's life. For example, the woman that he married or how he died. The latter one should absolutely be in the history book to be honest. I don't know why that hasn't that been added yet! I'm currently playing as Takeda with my daimyo, Nobumori Takeda, leading the army, and after many glorious battles he finally died in a battle against Tokugawa's ally Satake. We won the battle, but still he died! Imagine how cool it would be if the history book recorded how Nobumori Takeda died! A simple "he died during the battle of so and so" would be good enough for me. But, something more detailed like "He died from an arrow", "He was cut down by an enemy soldier", or "He died from his battle wound" would be very cool!
