As part of the Nordian-Human cultural exchange program of 05-16-2225, me and a team of other members of the UFE-XDSS joined the thirty human delegates who were sent to the Nordian capital world of Nordam, and we will be received in the spaceport at the city of Vanhamia, the Nordian seat of government. It is led by a council of fifteen high priests and fifteen politicians, all underneath the influence and leadership, and are also represented by the High Pope. The current High Pope is High Pope St. Mordrig den Polosch. It is important to note that Nordian Popes tend to give themselves a "Pope Name," which is usually the name of a saint, as seen by the "St." before the Mordig.)
From my time with the Society Research lead by Yu Deng, I know that the city of Vanhamia comes from the name of the Nordian god "Vaunham" and the word "Hamios," which is Hebran (An ancient Nordian language we sometimes refer to as "Nordian Greek") for land or land of. So it essentially means "Vaunham's land" or "Land of Vaunhan." Whatever you prefer. This also applies to their homeworld but with "Nordian."
ETA of our vessel is two hours.

A rather delayed entry. I was assigned with a Nordian translator named Shoguk to travel to the Nordian continent of Gawshon. Unlike the continental divide back at earth, which is geographical, Nordian continents are divided by culture. There are four of them: Borham, Corvannis, Vaughn, and Gawshon.
Located in the far east like Asia and Russia on Earth, Gawshon extend from the far northeast and the far equatorial east. This continent is rather unusual because the already cold climate of Nordam is intensified to windy, moist seasons and extremely harsh winters, which has made these people develop a nomadic warrior culture. Though Nordam religion of Vaunism mandates peace and mercy, these people have dedicated themselves to the martial protection of the Papacy and the faith. Their culture reminds me of Mongol Tribes, but some photos remind me of a winterized feudal Japan.
My Nordian translator Shoguk den Badir told me that the Vanhamian government originally showed displeasure in the warrior culture of Gawshon, they finally respected it in the year 2056 in an event called the "Vidgar Heresy," wherein a rogue priest named Vidgar den Sakir led a radical anti-Vaunist revolution in Gawshon that saw the massacre of Vaunists and their priests. Many attempts from Vanhamia were made to stop the fighting, but the Vaunist warrior nations in Gawshon stopped the uprising. After that, the Vanhamian government saw military might as a necessary precaution to maintain their faith.
Arriving in the airport in the metropolitan city of Roksha, we were greeted by the Khan of the city, Morgis-Gong. Shugoktold me that although Vaunist doctrine and teachings are constant in the Papacy, there a slight differences in the naming of officials as well as arts and architecture. While the continents such as Corvannis and Vaughn refer to their priests as Ministers and their high priests as Archministers, the continent of Borham calls their priests Disciples, their high priests as Judges. Here in Roksha, the titles are Khans and Archprophets.
I spent most of the day in the hotel, chatting with Shoguk about Nordian culture and history. I was deeply fascinated with the story as to why the Nordians are so united in faith. back at earth, every major religion had some deviations, such as the Protestants and Catholics, Sunni and Shia/Shiite , and a lot more. But here, there is literally zero divide in the faith.
The reason is the legend of the "Battle of the Stars." The tale is that in the year 2023, the stars in the sky began to shine so brightly that they could even be seen during the day. This went on for an entire week. Then suddenly, meteor-like projectiles were being "shot" out of the stars, and they all collided with one another and it illuminated every corner on Nordam. Then, a beam of light beamed down at a forest in Vaughn, which would one day become Vanhamia. There, an ethereal prism with thin, line patterns lay there. Scholars, historians, priests all over the planet approached the area. The prism spoke to them, and were all recorded in a holy book called "The Vanhamian Doucment." The prism claimed to be the god worshipped by all the religions in the universe, a god named "Vaunam."
Vaunam would proclaim the basis the Vaunist faith is based off, and his speech was broadcasted by the media at a large scale. It went uninterrupted for a whole week. In the end, he (or a she, a they? I don't know, Shoguk calls Vaunam "he" so I'll just go with that) told them that he said that because the bright light they saw was his holy spirits fighting Nethran's (Vaunam's opposite, the devil) evil spirits. Vaunam's spirits won, and they have freed every soul from the eternal suffering the wicked were once condemned to, and that all the souls in that "hell dimension" were to be reincarnated. He said that wicked souls will live again while souls who do finally attain perfection go to Vaunam's dimension and dwell in eternal life and happiness, in a community of fellow souls.
But, he warned them that Nethran will one day build an all-powerful army that will seek to wipe out the universe. Vaunam said that only the Nordians and the other sentient species of the universe will fight it, and the outcome is entirely dependent on their strength. That explains the rather decent military strength and newfound approval of Gawshon's warrior culture, it was all because of the Nordians preparing for an upcoming crisis that may wipe out life as we know it, and we may never know when...
