Hello everyone! One of our wonderful Community owned Discords is having a multiplayer event coming up! As this is an amazing and wonderful idea we here on the HoI team decided it was the least we can do to provide some prizes for the event. But not just for the winners! We have a few choice items to give out to the viewers too. You can join their Discord here, if you would like to get some more detailed information about the event and prizes, or too just hang out with the community.
Dates
Preliminary, Semi and Finals dates
Saturday 4th September - 18:00 UTC (Group-Stage)
Sunday 5th September - 18:00 UTC (Semi-Finals)
Saturday 11th September - 18:00 UTC (Finals)
The Bracket
Eight teams will compete in four simultaneous games, with the winners selected based upon the listed win conditions on the Hearts of Iron IV Community discord. The winning teams of these four games will compete the following day in the semifinals. Subsequently, the winning teams of the semifinals will compete the next weekend in the finale to win the grand prize.
Where to Watch
As there are multiple games going on this weekend, it is not really possible to host all the games in one place, it would simply take too long to do one after another, but each game is being cast so you will have your choice of where to watch.
Prizes
Ah yes, the prizes. We have provided a number of game codes for our current Grand Strategy Games in their Delux Editions (the names vary from brand to brand), AKA the base game plus most of the DLCs. Further information on how to win one can be found on the HoI4 Community Discord server linked above. But wait, there's more! A very small amount of merchandise prizes will also be given away. These will include a selection of items not available for purchase, such as HoI4 shirts and mugs.
