I really do feel like I'm on a Grand Tour of sorts!
The realm rejoices as Paradox Interactive announces the launch of Crusader Kings III, the latest entry in the publisher’s grand strategy role-playing game franchise. Advisors may now jockey for positions of influence and adversaries should save their schemes for another day, because on this day Crusader Kings III can be purchased on Steam, the Paradox Store, and other major online retailers.
My industrial score was recently much, much higher. However, I had an acute budget crisis brought on by industrial subsidies. When I backed off subsidies a majority of my factories went bankrupt. Mass unemployment ensued, and I eventually put a few of the subsidies back. Although, for some reason, my factories are producing nothing, even when I subsidize them and I have plenty of their inputs in stockpile. This is a new phenomenon in the 20th century for me: up until the 1900s I was a major industrial power. Industrialization was confined to Ethiopia proper along with the Sudan (which were states) as opposed to the new territories.Nice. For such a populous Empire you industrial score seems rather low. Is there no industry outside of the Ethiopia proper? Is Ethiopia proper only lightly industrialised?
That's just Asmara. The Empire as a whole is actually rather more diverse. Since the previously mentioned economic crisis, the dominant parties have been the conservative Royal Faction (which has never lost control of the lower house) and the Socialists (which once had more than 70% of the (appointed) upper house). The Liberals were once a power but have been replaced by the Socialists, and the Fascists have come on strong in the 1930s.J. Sorry to get your hopes up but that post was from like a year ago, when this was new. I'm trying to weave the game history into the entries, but if you still are wondering at the end of it I'll try to fill in gaps.Tommy!
Thought you were gone!
Oh, and nice AAR, although it is a bit frustrating not to know what happened, that's what keeps us readers reading!
