    The Great Nagyari Empire

    ZHPThG9.png

The Nagyari species, a humanoid race.

“The Nagyari. A most curious lot.”

    The Watcher tsk’ed.

    “Who now?”

    The Creature looked up.

“The Great Nagyari Empire. In galaxy B56912-17, dimension G19-127. I’ve been following them lately. A most curious lot.”

    The Watcher sighed.

“You know,” he said, “they did well early on. Could have dominated their surroundings so easily. Now they’re one of many. I wonder…”

    The Creature grinned.

“Much like your humans, except for the lack of success, then?”

    The Watcher turned.

“Yes. And no. The humans did well from the onset. These one…they look human, act human, yet are not human. And they do not – yet at least – have close to the same success.”

    He hummed.

“I do wonder if they can change their destiny, though. I wonder…”

    The Creature smiled.

“Destiny is a fickle thing. But friend, tell me more about these Nagyari.”

The Watcher narrowed his eyes, looking deep into nothingness.

“Yes. Yes, it is. Destiny. Curious thing…”

    He laughed.

“Yes, my friend. I will tell you. I do not know how long the story will be, or whether it will be of much interest in the longer term though. Who knows what lies beyond the horizon…?”

    “I’m listening, my friend.”

The Creature beckoned The Watcher to continue.

“Ah, yes… The Nagyari, they did well initially. Their beloved Empress, the first of many, she sent out explorers. Soon found two planets of similar continental classification nearby.”

    LC2JUiy.png

Old Alvania, the home world of the Nagyari.

    The Watcher chuckled.

“Found more than they expected, they did.”

    The Creature tilted his head.

“Precursors, was it? It always is. They never expect it.”

    The Watcher grinned.

“No, no they never do, do they. Most curious…”

    The Creature nodded.

    “Who was it, then?”

    The Watcher looked up.

“The Grunur and Baol. Most curious, you seldom see them in these corners of the dimensions.”

    He sighed.

“The Baol…poor lot they were. As the Nagyari would find out, soon enough. Such a gentle species, but not for this world. No, no they weren’t.”

    He shrugged.

“In any case, the Nagyari expanded. Grew. Soon they had five inhabited planets, sixteen systems. Their economy flourished. They were happy.”

    The Creature sighed.

“What did they do, then? Some dangerous technology? A space dragon?”

    The Watcher smirked.

“I see you looked up on the robots in galaxy C14992-19, dimension T123-92. No, it was no dragon. No dangerous technology. It was greed.”

    The Creature tsk’ed.

“It so often is. Neighbors, then.”

    The Watcher nodded.

“Yes. The Yldar. A most interesting lot, themselves, they are.”

The Holy Yldar Kingdom, the first obstacle for the Nagyari.

    “So, what happened, then?”

    The Creature leaned forward.

    “War. War happened.”

    The Watcher shaked his head.

“The Nagyari was stronger than the Yldar. The war was swift. Two planets, six systems. The Yldar was crippled.”

    The Watcher sighed.

“That victory undid much. So much.”

    The Creature raised his eyebrows.

    “How come, my friend?”

The Watcher looked intently at his friend.

“The economy. It crashed. The Yldar was expensive to rule, it turned out. Yes, most expensive. Quite the blow to the Nagyari economy, they ended up being.”

    The Creature shaked his head.

“It often is. How bad was it?”

    The Watcher smiled sadly.

“The energy budget went from a net positive of 20 to a net negative of almost 80, overnight. The consumer goods budget from positive 20s to negative 50s.”

    He looked into the distance.

“Then it was the matter of food. A healthy surplus of 40 went into the deep 50s negative. The whole Empire starved.”

    The Creature gasped.

    “Surely, this was fixed soon?”

    The Watcher shaked his head.

“No, no it wasn’t. Of course, much was done. Industries rediverted, shut down even. Energy generators built; farms sowed. But society went into shatters. It took too long time, and people did not have the patience. Why would they, one might ask.”

    He laughed sadly.

    “Why indeed… I wonder…”

He looked directly at his friend.

“It would take almost three decades before something resembling normalcy returned. Before that; unrest and rebellion. All planets, all systems, under the Nagyari felt it. The old capital world of the Yldari, Yldar itself in the Yliant system. It had been conquered. It was lost to the Nagyari. The whole planet rebelled. The Nagyari did not sit in a position to resist. It went back to the Yldar the same day it fell.”

Yldar did not last long under Nagyari rule.

“So, then the Empire fell into disrepair, I wager?”

The Creature looked with a curious look on his friend.

“Yes. And no. They struggled for decades. Expanded their territory to gain more resources. Used every energy credit and mineral they had to fix their problems. Yet…”

    The Watcher sighed.

“They fell behind. Crime was rampant, technology all but stagnated. But they persevered. After a while they got their economy back on track.”

    The Creature smiled.

“Thrifty people, then. A bit like your beloved humans.”

    The Watcher winked.

“Most curious, those ones. Something to behold. Did you know they exist in this galaxy too? No, you wouldn’t. You just recently arrived into this story.”

    The Watcher frowned.

    V6bb926.png

    Humanity’s wardens.

“However, they are under the watchful eyes of their masters. The Prime Wardens, the robots calls themselves. Rogue servitors. A most curious lot.”

    The Creature cocked his head.

“I would wager they were not the only aliens the Nagyari needed to cope with?”

    The Watcher nodded.

“Indeed. This galaxy is filled with life. Let me show you.”

    He held up his hand.

    rwrgHrY.png

    The Yaanari Prime.

“The Yaanari Prime. The first living aliens the Nagyari discovered, even before the Yldar. Far in the galactic south, these aliens are. A hive mind. Not a threat to anyone. Too weak.”

    He smiled.

“Yet, some interesting beings. They keep to themselves and their neighbors let them. So far.”

    The Creature smiled.

“You do love your specimens, my friend. Go on.”

    The Watcher nodded.

    rfuU7Mz.png

    Rivals of the Nagyari.

“I do. My work is…good for me. Then there is the Kenjodan Union. Hegemonic Imperialists and the closest neighbors to the Nagyari, on the other side of the borders, to the galactic south-west. They do, I must say, not like the Nagyari. A future threat, to be sure, if not the Nagyari catch up. So far, they have been on and off at war with their other neighbors the Prime Wardens, though.”

    The Watcher grinned.

    MSy5FZI.png

    Friends of the Nagyari.

“But the Nagyari is not without friends. The Dynastic Union of Sabak have made a liking to their distant galactic neighbors. Trading between the two went up soon after they discovered each other. Technological exchange too. They do make some nice bed fellows, the two Imperialist Empires.”

    He frowned.

“But then again, there is the United Kalaxenan Stars. Democratic Crusaders and hating the Nagyari guts. Their borders slowly met over two decades, filling the empty space no one else claimed. Superior in technology and slightly stronger in navy. Most disturbing for the Nagyari…”

    uQsmVKA.png

    Enemies of the Nagyari.

    The Creature tsk’ed.

“You and your love for the humanoids. It’s endearing.”

    They both laughed.

    “Yes.”

    The Watcher grinned.

“There is something about them. Something curious and special.”

He held up his hand again.

    3OhPpO7.png

Irenic Bureaucracy and a peaceful lot.

“And then, my friend. There is the Union of Poci’Ganklak. Far away, pretty indifferent to the Nagyari. Peaceful, keeping to themselves. The same is their neighbors the Union of Qix’Poktrak. Peaceful science people, wanting to build through diplomacy.”

    Sg0d7Im.png

The galactic south is a peaceful place.

    The Creature nodded.

“Keeping to themselves? Just like the ancients I am certain is around here too.”

    The Watcher nodded back.

“Indeed. Keeping to themselves, they are. There are two of them; the Scyldari Progenitors. An observant, if a bit reserved lot, they are. And the…somewhat damaged robots, the ancient caretakers of the Homolog Continuum.”

    csvN5AH.png

    yIAYuea.png

The two fallen empires around in the galaxy.

    The Watcher furrowed his brow.

“Those would be all. Ah, except the very small empire of the Hadadeshi Mercantile Guilds. The poor beings got left behind, one might say.

    fi83qKs.png

    A very small empire.

    He giggled.

“How on Haldok’s beard could I forget. The Independent Pakari Commonwealth. Deep in the galactic south. Pretty strong, but far from the action.”

    cASEacB.png

    Good warriors, much honor.

    The Creature smiled.

“In the south, with all the action going on in the north. I see.”

    The Watcher gasped.

“Oh my, something is happening. While we have talked, the Nagyari economy has blossomed, their military doubled. And they’re moving towards Yldar space. Most curious.”

    The Creature nodded.

“Indeed. Their economy is good now. But see what happened last time they went to war.”

    The Watcher shaked his head.

    “Let’s see what happens.”

    “Curious. Most curious.”

    The Watcher clapped his hands.

“Hmmm, what was that, my friend?”

    The Creature yawned.

“Ah! My friend! You are awake! Most excellent! And just in time!”

    The Watcher grinned.

“The war between the Nagyari and the Yldar is decided then?”

    The Creature cocked his head.

“Yes! And it went well for the Nagyari!”

    The Watcher winked.

    “Or did it?”

    The Creature smiled.

“They wrecked their economy again, didn’t they?”

    The Watcher nodded.

“They did. Went from well over a hundred energy in surplus and a good 40 consumer goods, selling over 100 food and over 80 minerals – to going decidedly in the negative on all accounts.”

    He shook his head.

“Now they’re out of consumer goods too, making all their planets angry. It seems like they will have to redo their miracle once more.”

    The Creature pointed.

    “What are they doing now?”

    The Watcher turned.

“Curious. Not a bad idea, per see…to reorganize. But it didn’t work out as planned it seems. Their new planets and some outlying planets reorganized into three vassal kingdoms, in addition to the newly subjugated vassals of Yldar. That makes it two Yldar kingdoms and two Nagyari kingdoms. But what a mess in borders.”

    c4tH39u.png

The new, decentralized and feudalized Great Nagyari Empire.

    The Watcher tsk’ed.

“And it didn’t work out. They lost some star ports. Now they need to reduce their fleet with 1/4th. Most unfortunate…”

    He grinned.

“At least it seems they have managed to get everything except consumer goods under control fast. But the lack of those goods will hurt their research. They need that research now more than ever. Their neighbors are running ahead.”

    The Creature sighed.

“And the healthy surplus is no longer there, I see. They do make things difficult for themselves…”

    The Watcher looked up.

“Oh, but my friend. That is part of what makes them so curiously interesting.”

“The Nagyari. They have got control over their economy again, and have absorbed their vassals, one by one.”

“How long will it last this time, I wonder?”

    The Watcher furrowed his brow.

“Not long, it seems. A few months after the last vassal was absorbed, they went into a depression. Their economy is collapsing.”

    t0Q5cQb.png

    The Creature sighed.

“Never rest for the wicked, eh? I’m sure they will get on top again, my friend.”

    The Watcher sighed.

“They tried re-releasing the last vassal, in case it was the straw that broke the camel’s back. It was not.”

    He gasped.

“And now they are at war. Their ally the Dynastic Union of Sabak got declared war on by the United Kalaxenan Stars.”

    He frowned.

“Most disturbing for them, their enemy is stronger both military and technologically.”

    H8nRUWU.png

    The Creature shook his head.

    “War. It is always war.”

    He scoffed.

“It is the way of most civilizations.”

    The Watcher nodded.

“Indeed. We will have to see how it turns out. Some tea while we wait, my friend?”

“Ah, that was a surprising turn of events.”

    The Watcher smiled.

    “What now, my friend?”

    The Creature turned.

“The Nagyari. Their economic problems are still bad, but after the status quo peace with the Kalexenans, parts of it has improved. Their allies even won some territory, while they kept theirs, barely. But…”

    The Watcher shook his head.

“They got a rebellion on their hands. One of their planets decided to go independent due to the lack of consumer goods. The Nagyari is invading.”

    He gasped.

    fMXWNhw.png

“Look at that. The Kalexenans are back at it. Declared war on the Nagyari directly.”

    The Creature scoffed.

    “Are they alone?”

    The Watcher turned and smiled.

“No. No my friend. They have their allies with them. And what’s better, the war seems to have reinvigorated their economy. Just look at this. Most curious…”

    vnRbhEk.png

    The Creature laughed.

“Seems like they have a fighting chance then?”

    The Watcher winked.

“Indeed. Their allies took the brunt of the fighting and did well. Ended up with some planets and systems”

    He pointed.

“And the Nagyari themselves managed to gain several star systems themselves. Most impressive. A much larger navy certainly helped, they beat the enemy in direct battle several times, opposed to last time when they did not engage them directly.”

    lpbEZ5i.png

The Creature took a sip of his tea.

“And look at that; a new civilization rose on their borders during the war and is now getting the offer to become a protectorate of the Nagyari.”

    The Watcher nodded.

“Most wise of them. They would not stand a chance alone. And,”

    He pointed.

“They are excellent for colonizing the planets not suitable for the Nagyari or the Yldar.”

    The Creature smirked.

“A match made in heaven, then. Biscuits?”

    “Ah, look at that.”

    The Watcher smiled.

    “What now, my friend?”

    The Creature looked up.

“The lithoids have joined the Great Nagyari Empire fully.”

    The Watcher pointed.

“They have already been tasked with colonizing no less than six planets.”

    The Creature grinned.

    “Their future looks bright, then.”

    The Watcher nodded.

“Ah, but the Nagyari troubles are not over. The Kenjodan Union and their allies the Prime Wardens have declared war.”

    77Zul2v.png

    The Creature tilted his head.

“The Prime Wardens… The custodians of Earth, no?”

    The Watcher sighed.

“Yes. Poor humans… At least a better fate than what befell them in the nuclear fire in galaxy T19563-12, dimension R555-21. I wonder…”

    The Watcher stood in silence.

“This war is looking to go pretty well for the Nagyari though, isn’t it my friend?”

    The Creature smiled.

    kL9DuK6.png

    “Yes, yes it does.”

    The Watcher raised his brow.

“But their allies are losing territory. Barely holding the Prime Wardens at bay. Most curious…”

    84gPaP5.png

    He gasped.

“But now it is over. The Nagyari gained a lot of territory, but their allies lost much too.”

    The Creature looked over.

“That must have hurt. Hopefully they will regain their strength before the next time they meet.”

    7KUrJiJ.png

    raaK67G.png

    The Watcher nodded.

“Yes, hopefully. The Nagyari is speeding forward in technology now, really lightening speed. And their economy is most impressive. I wonder…”

    The Creature shaked his head.

“Time will tell, my friend. May I offer you some salad? I made it myself.”

“Now, why would you do that, you silly Nagyari…”

    The Watcher shook his head.

    “Trouble in paradise, my friend?”

    The Creature looked up.

    nyWIGzj.png

“Yes. The Nagyari met a space dragon, guarding what it calls a Rubricator.”

    He sighed.

“The Nagyari tried to take it by killing the dragon. With both their fleets.”

    5JPoiPP.png

    The Creature cocked his head.

“Not a wise thing if they didn’t have superior firepower.”

    The Watcher nodded.

“And they did not. At least they did two wise things. First, they retreated before it all was lost. Secondly, they rebuilt fast with their saved resources.”

    He tsk’ed.

“And there it goes, a tough choice they had to make.”

    The Creature raised his brow.

    “What choice might that be?”

    The Watcher looked up.

    k8J2zlh.png

“War. Their allies the Dynastic Union of Sabak wanted war with their common enemy the United Kalaxenan Stars.”

    The Creature frowned.

    “And they did what, exactly?”

    The Watcher smiled.

“Supported their allies. They are a honorbound lot. Together, they stand a chance. Alone, they do not.”

    He gasped.

    8Fs0TaR.png

“Oh, what an interesting development! During the war, the Nagyari decided to reform their government to be more nationalistic. Means more claims for them. Seems like they have planned to expand.”

    The Creature laughed.

“And look at that. They are sweeping the floor with the enemy. Seems like their gamble paid off.”

    lgZP435.png

    The Watcher grinned.

“Indeed. Just look at this map, they dominate the galactic north together with their allies.”

    XoM4awv.png

    He gasped.

    “Oh dear…”

    The Creature’s smile vanished.

    “What now, my friend?”

    The Watcher turned.

“Their main navy and army flotillas…they are trapped within the enclave made by their allies when peace was made. The Kalaxenans in the north, the Prime Wardens to the south. There is no way for them to get back to their own territory. And what’s worse, the navy is severely damaged.”

    LuAG56o.png

    The Creature nodded.

“And that fleet is almost 18k strong, with their other navy being only slightly below 4k. I see the problem.”

    The Watcher pursed his brow.

“They will need to build a new navy fast.”

    The Watcher grinned.

“What has the Nagyari been up to now?”

    The Creature smiled.

    DDOOXOw.png

“They’ve gone cybernetic, is what they’ve done.”

    The Watcher pointed.

“Or rather, they’ve begun. A massive project, it is.

    SjpFezG.png

    The Creature nodded.

    “Massive undertaking indeed.”

    The Watcher laughed.

“Most curious it is. Not being content with what they have, they are making themselves better. For better or for worse, they are creating themselves a new Nagyari.

    The Creature frowned.

“I take it they have done something about that unfortunate fleet accident?”

    The Watcher nodded.

“Indeed. They are using their big surplus in food to boost their energy income. Over 1200 food units they are selling each month now. And with some of that energy, they’re buying alloys. With those, alloys, they are building a new fleet. It’s already above 23k in strength.”

    The Creature gasped.

“Quite resourceful, then. And they’re not using it in war?”

    The Watcher shook his head.

“No. They are, I guess, afraid. The Prime Watchers, the Kalaxenans and the Kenjodans have allied. The latter two are weak, but the former is equal in strength to the Nagyari. And remember, one of the fleets are severely weakened, many of the ships barely flying.”

    Kzi4I6O.png

    He grinned.

“And now look at this. The Kalaxenans have got an Yldar for Commissary-General. How curious.”

    The Creature smirked.

“Must rub the Nagyari the wrong way, that.”

The Watcher jumped up from his seat.

    XvDDWok.png

“Look at that. The Drums of War are beating. A Khan has risen.”

    The Creature nodded.

“A time to decide then, who the bigger enemy is and how to respond. Do something, or wait and hope the enemies break each other?”

    He smiled.

    “Some cookies while we wait?”

    The Creature raised a brow.

    ARvVdrD.png

“Jump Drives, my friend. Jump Drives.”

    The Watcher shook his head.

“Very useful, very dangerous. But if the lost fleet could use it, most fortunate. Unfortunately for them, they have no way of reinforcing much less upgrading that fleet…”

    The Creature nodded.

“At least they are better suited to face whatever is coming now that they have finished the Cybernetic Revolution.”

    V2CkpUz.png

    The Watcher smiled.

“Indeed. And they have unlocked the ability to make planets into ecumenopolises. I wonder if they will utilize it and where… Most interesting…”

    E4z2lo4.png

    He gasped.

“Oh, the Khan is doing well. One of the bigger empires in the south – on the other side of the galaxy of the Khan no less – have submitted. Most curious…”

    BuHcVzT.png

The Creature gave a quizzical look.

“Do they have jump drives or gateways then?”

    The Watcher pursed his brow.

“Probably. I have not focused my energies down there. The north is way too interesting… Oh. Golly. Look at that.”

    The Creature turned.

    “What now my friend?”

    The Watcher pointed.

“Another empire submitted. The Khan’s Empire is on the border of the Nagyari now.”

    wTVQoyD.png

    The Creature nodded.

“Time for the Nagyari to take an interest then. I wager they are?”

    The Watcher shook his head.

“They are not. They have claimed much of the Kenjodans’ territory and build a huge fleet in their core territory; 33k strong. It can take on the Khan, I would think, but they are not moving against him. At least not yet.”

    VR22Rgv.png

    He gasped.

“And there goes another Empire. Why are not the Nagyari moving? I wonder…”

    The Creature scoffed.

“Probably waiting for the Khan to die and his empire to shatter, and then move in to take the mantle. It is the way of authoritarians like themselves.”

    He smiled.

“But I do see their appeal, my friend. Most interesting beings.”

    He pointed.

    t4jsAvV.png

“Look at that, though. Somehow, the Khan has moved in and obliterated the control the allies of the Nagyari had on the enclave. This means the weakened and outdated navy of the Nagyari is in danger…”

    The Watcher nodded.

“A potential to get out, but most probably to die… Most curious… Seems like the Julau system is where they come.”

    He turned.

“Just look at that. So many strong fleets. The Nagyari need to do something soon enough.”

    P5j37Sg.png

    Umqfrjp.png

    mezpJOT.png

    The Creature shook his head.

“Too late it seems. The old navy of theirs just got a beating and did an emergency jump, almost obliterated.”

    He pointed.

“And look at that. They are attacking directly into Nagyari territory on the other side of the galaxy now.”

    knTFogW.png

    The Watcher pursed his brow.

“It is forced upon them, then. They need to fight. Do you still have any of that delicious cheese, my friend? I’m starving.”

“There it is. Timely, they were about to lose a system there.”

    The Watcher smiled.

“They Nagyari will not have any problems with the Khan as long as their defenses in the west is not breeched. Look at that, over 33k fleet, and the biggest enemy around is merely 18k strong.”

    ZFs3XfF.png

    The Creature grinned.

“Yes, but in the west they have at least three suchs fleets operating, and this 33k fleet is far from there.”

    The Watcher shrugged.

“Yes, there is that. But they need to go through the Prime Wardens first, and they are of equal strength to the Nagyari, and has a more focused empire, distance wise.”

    The Creature scratched his chin.

“Yes, you are correct there. For the moment at least there is no danger. Yet.”

    He pointed.

“And now the fleets meet. It should be a walkover for the Nagyari, this time around.”

    dqFl5hn.png

    4Ogu4Nh.png

    The Watcher smiled.

“Indeed. But look at that, the battle is just over, and another fleet just arrived. Most curious.”

    25BQPET.png

    The Creature nodded.

“But they won, again. And now they’re moving through the satrapy and towards the Khan’s territory. Why is not the satrapy fighting against them?”

    The Watcher laughed.

“The Nagyari has promised all the satrapies help if and when they rebel. Now they need to prove their mettle. Most cunning.”

    He nodded.

“Time for some tea, wouldn’t you say?”

    “Interesting.”

    The Watcher pointed.

“The Nagyari has liberated their first enemy planets.”

    XoOEsmt.png

    The Creature laughed.

“And the Qix’Poktrak demands they get it back, as the Khan took it from them previously.”

    The Watcher grinned.

“Fat chance for that, as long as they are a satrapy. Winner’s keepers and all that.”

    He frowned.

    MRYJ5KR.png

“But look at that. The Khan is invading the territory in the west. And the Nagyari are far from the battlefield, even though they are sending a fleet there. It’s not as big as the other one invading in the east, though. Basically, equal of size.”

    The Creature sipped his tea.

“Could go either way then, if they even get there in time to save the systems.”

    The Watcher gasped.

    NZECHJB.png

“Oh my… The longtime allies of the Nagyari, the Dynastic Union of Sabrak, has submitted to the Khan. They are now alone against the galaxy. The Prime Wardens and their allies in the core are weak and very much opposed to the Nagyari…”

    The Creature shook his head.

“And there goes the first Nagyari planet to fall to the Khan’s control. Then again, the Nagyari has gained three planets on the other side of the galaxy.”

    The Watcher smiled.

“But now, my friend, it gets so much more interesting.”

    He pointed.

    “The Khan is dead.”

    “Curious, most curious…”

    The Watcher cocked his head.

“What has caught your interest now, my friend?”

    The Creature smiled.

    qJCgvkA.png

“The Horde, it has become – of all things – a democratic federation.”

    The Watcher laughed.

“Not often one sees that, my friend. Blood thirsty conquerors going soft, and even allowing their satrapies, now federation allies, the option to leave.”

    The Creature grinned.

    7nRxWmf.png

“Most interesting, my friend. And look, the small Zaxxoid Imperium is the first to leave.”

    The Watcher smiled.

“They are the smallest entity in the galaxy, now sandwiched in between the big boys. Most curious…”

    He gasped.

    6To5sQq.png

“And there the Dynastic Union of Sabak is leaving. But curiously, they do not want to ally their old friends again. Most curious… They need a protector; they are quite weak.”

    The Creature nodded.

“Indeed, a most disappointing choice by their part. But the Nagyari does not actually need them at this point. Ah!”

    SvZ7SSq.png

    He pointed.

“And there goes Yaanari Prime out of the fold too. Most interesting.”

    The Watcher smiled.

“Yes. But even more interesting; the Nagyari has sent their entire fleet towards the dragon. Seems they will finally try to end that threat.”

    “They did it.”

    The Watcher grinned.

    mjxmt9w.png

“They beat the space dragon. It didn’t even cost them more than a few smaller ships. The Nagari are really getting strong now.”

    The Creature smiled.

“Only the ancients are a match for them now. And they keep to themselves.”

    The Watcher nodded.

    RWboaYm.png

“And look at that, now they are finally taking on the inner core. Most interesting.”

    The Creature shook his head.

“The Kenjodan and their allies are weak. This will be a question of how fast the Nagyari and their allies can race through their systems.”

    The Watcher laughed.

“Yes. Already the Nagyari is speeding through it. But their allies need rescuing. Those detours to take their allies’ war goals is the only thing keeping them. I wonder if they should have been kept out of it altogether…”

    IVhH7ex.png

    The Creature pointed.

“Looks like the Nagyari got tired of bailing out their allies. A peace was brokered, greatly gaining themselves, but costing their allies some.”

    The Watcher shook his head.

“At this point their allies are indeed only a millstone.”

    He looked up.

“Have you got any of that Glacorian ice cream?”

    “Intriguing. I wonder…”

    The Watcher smiled.

    odUvQzM.png

“Have you seen this, my friend? The Nagyari has obtained a most precious ability. The knowledge of how to turn any colonized planet into a Gaia World.”

    The Creature gasped.

“That’s really something. A marvel. Where are they applying this?”

    The Watcher grinned.

“On their capital planet Old Alvania, for one. But also, on two core world planet that are less than ideal for them, and another planet that is their first colonized world way back then. It cost a lot of energy, else I’m sure all their planets would get the treatment.

    Kvdy2dP.png

    u3wVQSE.png

    3oPPUIi.png

    He laughed.

“And look at this. The animosity with the Yldar still runs deep. They have designated the old home world of the Yldar a penal colony. It will be swimming in crime now.”

    The Creature smirked.

    sI56lVT.png

“Such cruelty. But the Yldar is but one of many species now, all treated well and not being rebellious, no?”

    The Watcher nodded.

“Yes, but only the Nagyari themselves have full citizen rights. The rest, except the robots, which is in servitude, has residence rights only.”

    He pointed.

    A4dOWbF.png

“But look at that. The Science Nexus’ first stage has finished. But the next stage surely must wait. For now, they have declared war on their once allies Yaanari Prime and the Dynastic Union of Sabak.”

    The Creature frowned.

“So, the time of friendship is over. Now the dominance of the galaxy is at play. If, or when, they win, the Yaanari will be a vassal and the Sabak lessened in size.”

    JuxBWhV.png

    The Watcher shook his head.

“Such it is. Would you like a glass of F’nikalian wine while we wait on the outcome?”

    The Watcher chuckled.

“They won, didn’t they? This quickly?”

    vJ7Oi72.png

    The Creature smiled.

“Yes, they had little opposition, indeed.”

    The Watcher tsk’ed.

    sfEZTJV.png

“At this time, only the Nagyari and the Horde is major players in the galaxy. The rest is merely cannon fodder.”

    The Creature pointed.

“Speaking of fodder, now the robots and their allies are at the mercy of the Nagyari. Your precious humans might soon live under new masters.”

    pwrXM73.png

    The Watcher lit up.

“Indeed. And as usual now, little opposition. Ah!”

    He gasped.

“The Nagyari sent a fleet into a system with almost 20k defense platform power and had to retreat. Most curious…”

    The Creature winked.

    “A setback. Most interesting.”

    The Watcher nodded.

“Yes, but the war is all but won anyways. At this time, they could settle for a white peace, getting a human led vassal empire consisting of most of the Prime territory.”

    He smirked.

    tYIjFJt.png

“Look at that, Earth is under attack. Most interesting.”

    The Creature clapped.

“And now the war is over. The Kenjodan are now fully controlled by the Nagyari, and the Prime Wardens are their vassals.”

    He turned.

    “No human led empire, then.”

    The Watcher frowned.

    KptUtNG.png

“No. But some planets under the direct control of the Nagyari with humans on them. That is something after all.”

    He grinned.

“I think I’ll celebrate with some ice cream. Do you want some?”

    The Watcher shook his head.

“The Dynastic Union of Sabak is going down, then?”

    0OE2XdM.png

    The Creature cocked his head.

“Yes. It was inevitable, I guess, when they didn’t renew their alliance. Most curious that they did not…”

    He pointed.

“And they are finished. With a two-pronged attack from the galactic north and their borders with the Prime Wardens, it was going to go fast, I guess.”

    CCVGzwW.png

    The Watcher nodded.

“And now they are moving south, towards the Independent Pakari Commonwealth. The only civilization not controlled by the Horde or the Nagyari, except the ancients.”

    He smiled.

    yYwF4fc.png

“And there it goes. Another vassalization war.”

    He gasped.

“The L-Gates. They are opened. The Horde ally the Union of Poci’Ganklak opened them.”

    djeH1FW.png

    arwjFQN.png

    The Creature nodded.

“And there is a civilization in there. Seemingly benevolent, yet secretive.”

    He frowned.

“And they declare that the Bir system is not to be explored. Most interesting.”

    The Watcher laughed.

    dHp4TBO.png

“Yes. And the Nagyari has wisely set that system as forbidden to enter. Probably for the best.”

    He laughed.

“The Pakari is toast. And it would have happened sooner had not the capital been this well defended. The Nagyari had to build more troops.”

    CxwYDSJ.png

    The Creature tsk’ed.

    “Poor planning, that.

    The Watcher nodded.

    W6y64UH.png

    NBKUDmq.png

“Indeed. But look at this, the Union of Qix’Poktrak is in trouble. They have a machine uprising on their hands. Not to worry though, they have the entirety of the Horde behind them.”

    He grinned.

“In any case, the Nagyari has won. The Watcher council won’t make it official before another 50 odd years goes by, but it is all but a certainty. I guess it’s time to lay back and take a nap. But first, I suggest we celebrate the Nagyari with a glass of champaigne. Cheers.”
