Probably everyone will get his nose into France's internal problems. Even the AI of England could do it.

Both areas are pretty much taken by now. But I think you should take Sweden. You wanted to play in Scandinavia, then stay there. You could still claim English lands after all.

That doesn't matter too much. I was rather thinking which position that was most important to fill to generally improve the game. But if no one objects then Sweden it is.

Btw Varyar, why don't you start as the duchy of apulia, and pledge your loyalty to byzantium? After their ruler is dead, you get to be the Emperor (if byz still have elective laws, and if apulia is still strong)... either that or start with byzantium from the start. I don't think we actually need sweden, but that's my opinion. Sweden always kicks ass in Eu2.

EDITED: the save game you posted, Lurken, must be corrupted... i downloaded it a couple of times and tried to unzip it, but i can't... it has 0kb... Am i the only one with this problem?

Try updating your zip program. I had a similar problem with the official patch, where several files were "missing" when I unzipped because I used an old version of WinRAR.

As for Byzantium, it's not really in an area that needs more players, since we have Bulgaria and Serbia. And it's about to become Seljuq-ed. There are really only two areas that needs filling and that's Britain and Scandinavia.
