So, I have been playing Skyrim a lot recently and when I went to the Mages Collage in Winterhold, I remembered about an event called the Great Collapse that happened there and resulted in the city plopping into the ocean. It got me thinking, wouldn't it be a nice event to maybe implement into the mod?

Now that the game has a depopulation mechanic, I think it could be something fun and immersive to add somewhere down the line as an event chain maybe? I am sure it could also maybe be implemented with other major world events too. Such as the eruption of Red Mountain or the destruction of Kavatch? I just thought I'd share the suggestion and maybe people could expand on the idea.

4th Era. If I remember correctly it happened around the same time Red mountain erupted.
The Great Collaspe happened more than a century after the Red Moutain eruption, so it must be like about a generation before Skyrim's events

If I remember correctly. The Arch Mage said it happened 50 years after Red Mountain. That's 150 years before Skyrim. I believe.

Just checked, and the Great Collaspe occured in 4E122, 117 years after the Red Mountain, and 79 years before Skyrim

The Time frame for where the Mod is currently doesn't really fit, but I would honestly like to see something like this for where it is.

I don't see why we can't add things like this. If there's a depopulation mechanic, it can easily be applied for events related to major disasters (and there's a lot of them in TES, to be sure).

That's great to hear! I really do think it would add extra delicious flavor to the mod. One which is already bursting, I might add.
