Im not an apologist.Im simply telling you thats the way it is.We are not talking about programming the same as a platform game.With those every system(xbox.ps3 whatever) is the same ,therefore much easier to test and program.Let me ask you this.Is your pc the exact same as mine?Is mine exactly like yours or anyone else's?Do we have our driver's updated etc etc.So reality is this is what happens,the best and most efficient way to fix bugs is too allow us to post on forums like this what we think bugs are and allow PI to investigate.I freely admit there are numerous bugs(not as maany now with 1.2) and reading the bug forums is interesting,because a lot of what are perceived to be bugs are simply not knowing the game mechanics.Have a look for yourself and you will see.There has been far too much "jump on the bash Paradox wagon".Im not saying the game is perfect,AI is very dumb(as they were in HOI2

).Now I suppose your response to this will be to call me a "fanboy" or something like that.Anyway now you know next time to wait awhile before purchasing a complex,deep,detailed game such as this.

Hello Fanboy!

I can say that, I am a fanboy too, no pun intended!!!!!
If you really look at this the way you describe then I have a few remarks on that. First of al, when you compare consoles with pc's then you should realise that the console market is more difficult then the PC market. Yes, you are right with the assumption that our hardware differs. If I were a gambling man I would even say there is a 99.9% chance that nothing is the same in hardware. But that doesn't matter, there also is a 99.9% chance that we use a Microsoft made Operating System, XP, Vista or Windows 7. That is what matters, the hardware is operated by an OS, and a game is operating on a OS Shell. Therefore, hardware problems will be solved by the manufacturers. If software does not work there are only two reasons;
1. The software itself is not good
2. The programmers failed to test it propperly
To point out these facts with examples;
If an AI sucks, how can I blame my hardware for that?
If it is possible for other games to turn down the number of cores (if there is a need for that) why cant HOI 3 do that? According to the technical help it is something you should do.
If My game crashes due to scripting conflicts, how does that connect with hardware?
If my map is fubar (it is, made a topic in bug reports about it) and it has come after the patch, should I then buy a new video card?
And these examples are just a few of the problems I have in this game. No, Paradox should really revise their corporate governance policies and look at the way they use the beta testers, I find it hard to believe that there are so many mistakes have gone unnoticed. Or perhaps Paradox should start paying the beta testers and not restrict it to the "fanboy". If Paradox already is paying the beta testers, then my advice is fire them all!!!
To summarize, no our PC's are not the same but the similarity is much bigger then you apparently think. Even more then consoles. And everything I see in HOI 3 is a big joke. It is not even pre beta at this moment.
Furthermore I am really curios about the paradox policy about returning the money to the unsatisfied customer. And I would like to point out that I think it is absurd that I must register for technical help, and even that help is lame since my topic on the bug report I did not have a single reply from a Paradox employee about how to fix that problem!!
