I havent pre-ordered the game but I join this complaining crowd too. My local store will have it someday next week. It is actually good, I can concentrate on schoolwork.

You know, I ordered it on Dec. 17 too, when the glitch occured (accidentally ordered two and I was charged for 2, but I think that my friend is going to buy the extra one). Still nothing as well. However, I am also in NYC and you are in NJ, as was another person waiting. It could be the glitch, but it could also be a regional delay. Lord knows our post system here in the NE US is a little more "on alert" than others in the country.
That being said, I am still holding out hope that it will come in the mail today (either copy).

Flori actually posted that the copies were being sent out in order to have them try to arrive at their destinations on Jan 23rd. He clearly said that North American orders were shipped earlier since they would take longer to get there; and that (for example) Swedish orders wouldn't be sent until Tuesday. So...ummm...I'm kinda mystified as to where you read that announcement.

Ok if that's the case, I stand corrected.
But what still puzzles me is that, from Sydney, do I expect to receive it on Jan 23, or the Australian release date of Feb something?
It's so damn close to Feb now anyway, I wonder why I bother... :wacko:
Ah! It's a relief to have received my CE! Too bad though, that due to crazy Norwegian laws and differences between euro and dollar I ended up paying 100 dollars for my copy (CE + freight + 25 dollars in customs). Oh, well...
That's a tricky one because the other factor that affected the date it was shipped was whether Paradox actually had the finished product available to ship on that date. As I posted earlier in this thread (or was it another thread?) their stock didn't arrive until very recently so there may have been no way to time the delivery to be Jan 23rd for the somewhat more distant parts of the globe. I'm quite sure that they did the best they could under the circumstances.babyblue said:
