OK, I will try to find it. But it seems that you are the captain now, so could you stick link to latest version in your post footer (that bottom part of posts with all your links)?

IMO, I think "classical" 2-year step in aircraft and armor development is too long. Each side designed and produced so many, so different models each year, that every time I've problem which model name should I represent in model-names file ;). For eg. Pz.IV is Model 1941 and then we have sudden jump to Panther in 1943, completly omitting variants and intermediate models. But thats just my idea. As a walkaround I proposed (in my edited files), that Division model will be the one most common, while brigs are more "high-tech". For eg: Arm'43 is Pzkpfw.IVH, and MArm'43 is Pzkpfw.V Ausf.D, for SOV's it's like a T-34/76 Model 1943 and T-34/85 Model 1943 respectively.

I've been playing for a little while, and I have a few suggestions (most of them boil down to bugfixing) but if I had one suggestion, I would tell you guys to shift your focus away from pre-scripted events and towards a more random AI, and more dynamic events. You're combining 4 scenarios and 3 mods (counting DH Full). If anyone plays from 1914 to the 2000s, there aren't going to be any events left that haven't had a trigger messed up 50 years ago, or that doesn't rely on a larger event tree that never happened, and the world just kind of sits still and waits for the player to act. That's not fun. I understand that you are limited by the engine here, so it's not like I expect you to develop to a Victoria 2 or EU3 level of randomness, but just having more dynamic events that could happen to any nation, having more releasable nations, and making the AI more likely to go to war without an event scripting it out will do wonders to make the game a lot more lively.

Ok guys, this is mess and I don't like it. So I cleanedup few things:

- Core mod files are now on GitHub (https://github.com/DawidLijewski/TheGrandCampaign)
- It's mean as a tool to make our development process easier, not as hostingplatform
- Core files mean no images, audio, exes etc. That kind of stuff could be hosted somewhere else bcos it's heavy and irrelevant for coding.
- That assets do not crash the game, so it's pointless to drag them around our stagging enviroment
- You can review changes on branch "develop" before merging them with master branch
- Branch master is for release versions (with a lot of changes)
- And keep in mind: ALWAYS PULL TO YOUR LOCAL REPOS BEFORE COMMIT

And concerning assets, I'm gonna find some dedicated platform for them, bcos GitHub have limit of 1GB, while our mod is over 2GB.

Ive tried this mod. It seems fun!
Germany, 1914, prior to entering war Russia steamrolls Austria, which then ends up in creating austria, hungary and czechoslovakia in 1914. I roll Russians over and enforce bad peace, taking pretty big territory. Then 1918 I defeat France easily. Low countries untouched. Few days later all weird small butt countries declare war on me in Africa, which I ignore cause I dont care really about sand. Despite peace with France and Europe in general, I get failure of summer offensive and 65 % dissent. Fine, I can live through that. Quelled all that easily, wars went to white peace eventually, no problems there. Since then I control some 400-450 IC, 250 ship navy, 200 land divisions and enough strat bombers to pummel entire world to dust.

Yet I still get some -1 IC events (IC takes 3 years to build now for some reason), Britain and Czechoslovakia want to ally with me and generally, world is weird. Is there some weirdo trigger that I didnt hit?
HEll GB scrapped half of their fleet and my fleet is pretty much as big as entire world combined now.

I think this mod was meant for the Entene victory scenario because i played with the Ottomans in 1914 and the Central powers won (lucky). After that the game went silent.

Also Minister death dates could be re-adjusted :/

Would it be possible for a country that guarantees the independence of Austria to go to war with Germany if they annex them?

I don't like how Germany just suddenly swallows Austria without them resisting or even giving me a chance to go to war and help them.

Yeah, the Entente should get a choice to intervene after the occupation of the Rhineland, Anschluss, Memel (maybe), Sudetenland, Czechoslovakia, and Poland. As a choice for all of them. Would be interesting to see what happens if the Entente sits around while Germany invades Poland, or if they intervene right off the bat.

*1936 update too* --> Russia decided to attack Finland which happened ot be allied to me. from a country with 60 IC in 1918 Russia is now a behemoth with 450 IC and some 350 land divisions, no air force. Attacking proves to be crap idea and Russia gets DOW´d by Japan. Britain has 200+ relation to me so its fun. Nothing happens. I love it! :D

Oh well, 1940 SU gone, its just me and Japs in Asia now. Everyody friendly, no wars. Hitler probably hidden someplace else. Kinda funneh. Also on scoreboards its just Central powers no. Guess I won ^^

1936, nothing happening :( does the game even count with CP victory in WWI?

There was that file in the previous posts that adds the CP victory although its only just the events for GER, RUS, ENG concerning the Alt hist. Its not yet finished and the mod has bugs that must be fixed first. We'll wait for the Alt hist sometime later. :cool:

Did you see what I posted in the thread "Twlight of the gods", #56. It shows the vanilla infantry tech page done in a different style. The new style will allow you to have TWICE as many techs, which may suit a mod which lasts as many years as this one? I can give you the files when I have them completed. I mean all the vanilla dh tech files done in this style.

Yes this is a known problem. That is why the post WW1 saves are there to give a historical outcome. The mod is still quite playable and enjoyable with a CP victory. I have enjoyed games as Germany or Aus-Hung or even a Tzarist Russia if the Germans do not knock out Russians. You can also use the Freedom cheat to get a Demo Russia or Commie US or whatever your imagination can come up with. If you wish to write up all of the events for a CP victory and also the extra triggers for all the existing events or just sleep them in case of a CP victory please feel free to help. I imagine that you do not know how much work it would be. We do not have a main programmer for the mod now. Aussia Guy is the only one who is working on the mod now. EJ made a brief appearance but seems to be gone again. Too bad because he gave me a great new Beta for the mod which is really nice with the WIF2 events blended into this one. It still needs some fixing though and I have provided three pages of feedback to EJ but he is out of touch again. Anyone who wants to help can feel free to offer.

I really want to try out this mod but I have no idea which version is current. I think the version on the front page has been superseded, but I can't find a definitive and cumulative newer version in the forum. Does anyone have a cumulative patch?
