Used Mega link from this post and have this:

So you want to go away with -200% IC build time? If so can you clarify what are you going to replace it with? How are League of Nations events going to be related to IC?

Sorry about missing palette, fixed now.
A lot of new league of nations events are being worked on that will help keep a check on nations force limits, as far as IC, unknown at this time. I am slowly reworking every aspect of this mod from what it was to what It needs to be since a lot of stuff was only meant to be for a much shorter game. as far as ic build time, it will be give and take, depending how other events affect IC, It is a true balancing act with every thing, every nation is going to have events added so no 2 nations will ever be the same, just like real life but not to the point you feel like your just controlling another country, it is going to take time and things change every day even if you do not see it, i am still focusing on WW1 era, but at the same time working on depression events etc etc for interwar, just be patient with me, I am only one guy at the moment writing events and such, eeeex is fixing stuff i miss of course, and with all fans more or less beta testers :) that is why i want to hear everyone's opinions on what should be done, maybe some one come up with an idea i don't and make this mod that much better :)

More transparency in interwar period would certainly be nice, for example as France it took me a while to figure out that Death of Second Industrial Revolution event will fire as long as my total IC is >300. It really feels bad to know that you've wasted IC only because of some unclear gameplay mechanics.

My suggestion for IC control would be a progressive modifier to IC build time, for example:

If France's IC is below 200 there is no IC build time penalty
Between 200 and 300 there is +100% penalty
300 and 400 gives +200% penalty
400 and 500 gives + 400% penalty
Anything above: +500% penalty

I wouldn't connect it to WW1 at all so prolonging the war wouldn't be beneficial for economy, but the first limit should be something like Country_IC_in_1914 + 100

Going back to the Great Depression: Besides decreasing IC efficiency, increasing consumer goods consumption might also be a good idea.

Some choices here would be nice, interventionist approach could make depression less severe but it would last longer. Free market approach could result in very severe recession for a shorter period of time.

Things I'd avoid:
Randomly deleting IC in provinces - 1)Hard to adjust to country size 2) Can delete IC in colonies or non-core provinces 3)I like to build let's say 5 IC in every core province - random IC destruction ruins everything
Negative offmap money - It hurts tech development mostly and usually it takes many years to get treasury above 0.

IIRC and in my Nationalist China game this still worked, the quick and dirty way to beat the Great Depression events is to shift your policies towards Central Planning.

When the Depression kicked off I moved one over to central planning (I was already pretty firmly CP anyway) and in less than 24 hours after the GD began I got the "partial recovery" event.

Also I think someone needs to look at Japan (I might if I have the free time, my China fix was just cause i had 5 minutes spare) as they had nearly 75 land divisions in 1930, and an insane organization rate for a nation that had not even researched the first of the WW2 doctrine techs.

That´s what the interwar doctrines are for. They reduce your org a lot.

I think it's now how we want it to be

1915:Not many changes to be honest (I'm playing as Spain here and don't interfere with war at all)

1916:Although Germany seems to be focusing on Russia

1918:Italy down, France is going to die soon...

1919:France is on its legs

Germany won WW1 but there is a bug and Failure of 1918 Summer Offensive event still happened...

I'd suggest making following changes to Failure of 1918 Summer Offensive:
1)U08 and FRA must be at war
2)Until German victory is fully supported by this mod then it should always fire if U08 is controlled by AI

I played through a game and didn't touch the sliders and still didn't get any minister changes. I think that they only fire for the AI, which is minor, but still a bit annoying. I am still a couple versions back so not sure if you have fixed this yet.

Thanks

Few bugs, they might be related to France surrendering to Germany and German defeat soon after that:

1)Austria is still at war with Allies
2)Austria still holds Bessarabia
3)Bulgaria somehow managed to annex Bruges from Belgium

I've edited Failure of 1918 Summer Offensive event and loaded previous save. Did you nerf Russia in any way?

No, i have not nerfed the soviets in any way, this is due to the AI now switching to what it thinks is best, I have some AI changes that should fix this I am trying to finish up :)

Working on making events and decisions based on the AI minister changes, maybe by this weekends major release will be fixed, possible to be done tonight or tomorrow because I completely agree with you

2)Until German victory is fully supported by this mod then it should always fire if U08 is controlled by AI

Working on that, ATM trying to get hands off games to go historical since that means the ai is working right, I have started writeing events for CP victory since that is what I also want to see

IIRC and in my Nationalist China game this still worked, the quick and dirty way to beat the Great Depression events is to shift your policies towards Central Planning.

If you figure any thing out with that let me know, me and delanonne have also noticed that japan is unaffected by the disarm events etc etc but dont know of the reason why and has not been a main focal point for me at this time, so if you can find a reason why or a fix, even if just a temp band aid let us know, sometimes it takes a village ;)

Spain actually can be a superpower in this mod since it's not affected by neither unit\ic limits nor IC build time increase :D:D:D:D. Also there is a cool event giving cores on almost all former American colonies...

British are also super friendly, they:
1)Sold me Gibraltar and Jamaica
2)Help me in war with my colonies
3)Share all their technology

BTW I think Spanish HoS is broken, I should have Riviera instead of Jose-Calvo Sotero

Another bug: 1931 Statute of Westminster event for New Zeeland fires repeatedly

I know of the Westminster event issue, working on a fix, will also look at spanish ministers and see what the problem is, like the Spanish superpower idea though, that's a nice little touch of flavor

Certainly looks nice, but I have severe problems with lack of raw materials, I think I might be forced into invading United States together with my British friends :D

Although this event with war declarations on SA countries should be extended to :
Paraguay
Uruguay
Costa Rica
Haiti
Dominican Republic
Mexico
Cuba (if not US puppet)

Armor Division creation tech have no effect both in description and in production

Edit: It worked after I researched 1936 Light Tank

due to what it does there is no description since it allows the building of armored divisions and not just armored brigades

This is weirdest game I've ever played...

UK went communist (with Queen Elisabeth II as HoS and the same color as France...) and now unholy alliance of British communist and Spanish fascist reactionary neo-imperialists is going to invade United States :D

LOL. How did Britain become communist?
PS: Elizabeth II as Head of State of the so-called "English Republic" makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. How can Elizabeth II be Queen of the English Republic if the most rudimentary definition of a republic is a government without a monarchy? If she was called Comrade Windsor or something of that nature then I could maybe understand (reminiscent of Louis XVI prior to his execution) but her still being referred to by her monarchical name is misleading and inappropriate given the nominally Republican government structure.

Just wanted to let every one know I am trying to finalize a patch tonight, but can't promise any thing as I am trying to address the major issues in the ai at the moment since as may have been noticed the new ai from 2.2.310 makes the game............kinda................odd to say the least lol I have been taking a little extra time off this week here and there to rest since as every one knows I have been going hard for a while now, had to turn it down a smidgen. I am constantly monitoring the forum and trying to address issues as they are found and am not at this moment going to add anything majorly new until we got this working right but that does not mean i am not still working on the Alternate history aspect of the game or the 1900 expansion which i had planed to release by now, but as you guys know I have been focusing on what we have more than what is to come so that is on the slow burner. I am sorry if any one feels let down by my work or lack there of or the fact it is so buggy, I am working as hard as I can and fast as I can to fix it, as I would like to play a game my self in the near future :)
