It is already possible.....
There is Grand Duke Boris ( as Friedrich Wilhelm V ) present in German minister file. Currently he can become GER HoS only via prussian event chain or if you manually through save file change GER HoS.

Glad to know and very cool too, how will you deal with Habsburg victory over Germany? A victorious Austria would probably be more demanding of defeated Germany in some senses because they are germans too. I mean like annex Bavaria or force it to stay in a PU at least
What about a regive of Silesia and Annexiation of Bavaria and making an reclaiming of the HREoGN with the Habsburgthrone?
