2) There is no way to 'annex' a conquered country, you just take control of it. Also, the borders of all countries are fixed, with no way for a new country (Palestine, Kurdistan) to separate from an existing one, and no way to acheive such possible events as a union of North and South Korea (if one is conquered by the other, it will be a separate occupied country), or the incorporation of Taiwan into China.
