I started playing my first game as the count of Dublin, starting from 1066. Everything was fine for a while, but now (1108), the game has started to freeze randomly. When this happens, I can move my cursor, but it doesn't interact with anything and the screen is otherwise frozen.

Is it possible that patch 2.4.3 could be causing this problem? I think my game started to crash around the time when the patch was released.

My computer's specs:
MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014)
Processor: 2.6 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory: 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics: Intel Iris 1536 MB

Edit: It is not necessarily the common problem described in the following thread: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/foru...to-1-hr-requiring-power-cycle-repeats.640670/
The freezes described there seemed to be connected to having an Intel HD 3000 graphics card, while my graphics card is an Intel Iris 1536 MB. In addition, the people in that thread described the freeze as forcing them to restart the computer. However, when my problem occurs, I can force quit the program fine.

Edit 2: Disabling the SoA DLC fixed the problem!

There is a current bug causing certain save games to freeze or hang the game. You'l see several threads on it around you here.

Is that what you find? A given save will always hang at or near a certain date?

The crashing only started around the year 1108. Whenever I play the save, it crashes within a few in-game weeks.

We have some reports that disabling the SoA DLC lets you get past the hang - do you find that?
