I started playing my first game as the count of Dublin, starting from 1066. Everything was fine for a while, but now (1108), the game has started to freeze randomly. When this happens, I can move my cursor, but it doesn't interact with anything and the screen is otherwise frozen. I have a 2014 Macbook Pro.

Is it possible that patch 2.4.3 could be causing this problem? I think my game started to crash around the time when the patch was released.

Edit:

My computer's specs:
MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014)
Processor: 2.6 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory: 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics: Intel Iris 1536 MB

Edit 2: Disabling the SoA DLC fixed the problem!

Macs and Linux tend to have a lot of weirdness that's unique to them with CK2, though if I'm not mistaken even PC users have mentioned random crashes and freezes after a set amount of time.

Register your game and then go into the Tech Support Forum. Be sure to tell them your actual hardware set up, not just " 2014 Mac Book Pro".

Edit: You should also go through the Bug Report forum first after registering. It's more than likely a known issue.

Ok, I'll do that.

We have some reports that disabling the SoA DLC lets you get past the hang - do you find that?
