Yeah you didn't just take Moravia. For a coalition that large and distant to form, you must have committed a number of aggressive actions such as fabricating claims and getting caught (that alone can cause coalitions to form), annexed multiple provinces, force vassalised someone, or any combination of the aforementioned. One province alone won't generate a coalition like that.

Take a look at your AE in the diplo screen of one of your neighbours. That will be why.

on top of taking moriva, i made silesea my vassal
You realise that you can diplomatically vassalise Silesia without incurring any AE right? Wait until Bohemia annexes them, declare war for conquest CB on Moravia etc, take that province (you can even take the other neighbouring one too), force him to release Silesia, then ally, RM, gift 25 ducats, and you're easily at 190 and can vassalise peacefully.

Good potential vassals (diplomatic) for a starting Austria are Urbino, Baden, and East Frisia. You can feed Urbino italian territory (outside of HRE) such as Romagna, anything in Naples, and any provinces they already have claims on.

conuqering 1 province, and vasslizeing 2. is completely ahistorical for all great powers to unite to cut you down to size.

Coalition design in general is completely ahistorical. It will create fantasy scenarios where historical conquests get ahistorical reactions, and no coalition in history has ever blocked separate peace deals. It's a feature intended to constrain expansion rate arbitrarily as a substitute for a high skill requirement in resource management, and it's largely quite poor at it with a tendency to protect large nations and punish minors. From a game standpoint, dogpiling the nations that are otherwise too powerful to be challenged alone is the sensible use of such a mechanic, but in EU IV it's the opposite...coalitions tend to actively or inadvertently (it's a combination of both) protect/reward large nations instead.

Not just that, but they also have very low BT, which means if you toss them a cored 2-3BT province of another culture....poof, it instantly becomes accepted. East Frisia is great to help feed english territory (if the inheritance fires) and Danish territory.

if this is a fantasy game where are my dragons? if this ist a fantasy game why does it have fantasy fetures such as massive coaltioans over small land?
The game doesn't provide all the information you need but:
1. it says that aggressive expansion (AE) is bad
2. it shows AE numbers for each country in the peace deal screen
3. it shows you every country's opinion of you in the diplomacy tab

After you first conquest the trend should have been rather obvious.

Plus, where were your allies? Your diplomats? You're freaking Austria, not the Timurids!

Coalitions are nonsense, AE impact is ridiculously high and doesn't go away before it makes you die of boredom and when you conquer a province in Egypt its AE disturbs Scotland. How logical is that? Not enjoyable either. And strangely enough when I start the game as Ottos my godlike ruler dies before 1450 in almost every game. I'm about to go nuts. If things go like this I won't buy art of war...

I just took all of Italy minus Savoy(nice buffer from France) and Venice proper as Milan before 1510 without any coalition wars. Catholic England already ate Scotland, but even England only has a whole 20 AE for me.

I usually play hard ai instead of normal this round, which gets you on your game. Venice is a little angry at 120 AE.

Edit: I started in 1450 to have the Sforza dynasty, and have AI Bonuses on. Ironman.

Why would Bahmanis care about my conquest of Aleppo? They don't even discover where I am on the map. And if I conquer Lika from Hungary AE affects Scotland, Norway, Portugal etc. One province dude only one. Give me a break.

Get your prestige up and take Influence as an idea set. 7.1 is high base AE, you should get to around 5.5 with even the crap conquest CB.

None of those #s look unreasonable to me. 1 AE is nothing more than whisper of your misdeeds. Based on real trade flow of the time, it would have been a lot higher.

If you conquer a province deep into chistianity on the doorstep of the Holy Roman Empire, of course christian nations care.

Diplo immediacy is a probably necessary gamey part of this game. Still tales of Tamerlane were still told centuries after his death. And he never even got to Europe. Scotland should know you are evil and far away. They should also have more pressing concerns.

1 AE? I think that fairly represents "hey some distant empire conquered something, let's keep that in mind", which is not unreasonable. It'll go away before your next war is finished.

The thing is your neighbours are affected by AE so easily that they immediately form a coalition against you. What is worse and tricky is that your rivals such as Venice enters into coalition to eradicate you even if your AE doesn't affect them much. I want to conquer Bosnia, Serbia, Besarabia, Byzantium, Southern Greece, Northern parts of Anatolia before 1463 but the game doesn't let me to do so which is frustrating.
