Did Italy really make an amphibious landing on the Levantine coast?!?!
They really did, all by themselves... and for the record, I haven't used Military Control on ANY of my allies. The only foreign forces I've issued orders to are lent Expeditionary Forces.

Nice to see the Italians do something competent - but Tojo, now that is pure class.

Also guys, can we please keep the discussion on-topic, and not go down tangents.

Anyway, good stuff Emu. You closed out the Russians pretty easily in the end. Just one thing, can you post your force composition compared to the other belligerents(?).

Your plan looks pretty good.
If you start to fight the USA by the same time that Tojo (great character  ), the province of Colon will be an important key for the next step (world conquest). Assuming that USA will have a lot of problems with two open fronts :D :D

As of March 1941, I have 151 Infantry, 1 Cavalry, 6 Motorized, 16 Armor, 2 Mountaineers, 46 Garrisons, 5 HQs and 29 Militia... a total of 256 Divisions. I have stopped building Infantry (for Land forces, I have only some Garrisons and Motorized building) and am accumulating Manpower for my "next generation" builds.

I have started construction on my Cruizerg fleet... but the build-times came as a shock... over 300 days for a Heavy Cruizer???

The USSR has about half of that, but are building up rapidly. The UK has just under 100 Divisions, the USA about 60. Not sure how many Tojo has, since I've only recently started sending Spies into Japan.

Re-checking the Tech tables, it looks like the tech that I've been aiming for is NOT called Air Cavalry, but Armored Cavalry... although it DOES have a picture of a Helicopter on the unit-construction screen. I will need Jet Engines before I can unlock "Air Cav".

I've not quite worked out what AirCav is good for, not used it much so if could shed some light on its Strengths and Weaknesses I'd be appreciative

My games rarely last that long... it's the high movement speed that attracts me. In Mod-34, the Improved Armored Cars give +2 Speed, so I was planning to attach them to my uber-CAV, and just run amok.

That's quite... impressive. In my mod-34 game as the UK, the Italians proved nothing of a challenge, allowing me to swipe them from Egypt to Tunisia with eight divisions and not a single battle lost, while their navy was stuck in port until I decided to go conquer Italy and Sicily. However, I was pretty pleasantly surprised to see a German Afrika Korps in Lybia (though their performance was abysmal) and already in Southern Italy. Also, the surrender of Italy event is much better in the mod than in vanilla Arma.

From my experience, the convoy warfare has a huge impact on troops in Africa and in the Middle-East.

I remember playing once a game with Germany and launching an early Sealion before taking on France. By the time I had finished mopping up France, Italy had wiped the northern half of Africa and anything west of Persia clean of any Allied troops.

3) Tojo... there isn't enough room on this planet for TWO crazy dictators bent on world domination.

Regarding this I would suggest an America First Policy. Tojo only has so much IC and as a result only so much TC at the rate he's going he must be seriously over loading that TC. Though your sub fleet could probably cripple him fairly quickly Japan is at least as vulnerable as the UK to this.

A sub war against Japan would only cripple Tojo's eastern flank (i.e. the Pacific). The puppets in China and Menchukuo/Mengkukuo will keep everything in mainland Asia supplied regardless of convoy deliveries.
