Has anyone else had problem with the French Catholic shield? It shows up on mine rather as a 'negative', all blurred with a brown background, and quite ugly to look at. :p Am I the only one experiencing this, and any thoughts on how it can be fixed? I have my graphics set on 32-bit, just to be sure that wasn't it.

I've had this problem too. I have my graphics card on 16-bit, so it's obviously not that. The weird part is that when I look at their shield outside of the game it looks fine. It's a good thing it only happens with the French Catholics and not somebody important like France. :D

I'm having the same problem. I have mine set on 32-bit as well. And yes, for me too it looks normal outside of the game.

In EU1, one of the shields my sister created looked that way in the game, but it was fixed by altering the background color of the shield in a graphics program. I tried unsuccessfully to do the same for the French Catholics, but it could be that I don't have an advanced-enough graphics program to do it.
