Hehe LD, I don't know what you and Amric have cooked up behind my back but for some reason this dovetails exceedingly well with what he and I discussed and planned....

Fine by me. You can assume the Monks have a sizeable escort with them, for obvious reasons.Amric said:V, Trust me, you'll like it...<there really MUSt be an evil smilie>
LD, well that solves my dilemna of which way I am going with the twins. Nicely done, I'll advance them to the sixth if that is okay with you...
Bah. Simple solution. The ship belongs to either Maria, Frederik, or a trading associate of his.Amric said:ergh...he has got a point there, LD...I didn't mention the name of the ship as it seemed better to let you do it...Hm...have to think about this one...I don't personally feel like dodging arrows...![]()
Of course. Sorry.Judas Maccabeus said:I just noticed a mistake in your last post, LD: You say that Marie is Jean's wife when in fact she is his sister.
It probably won't happen until the New Year to give a few a of the no-shows a chance to sober up.Amric said:Amric post up now. interaction with John Branden and a slight expansion of his backstory.
LD- When is the FC storyline jump occuring? Should I jump ahead with A&A and the monks to get them closer to position?
I'm not sure if V has a specific villa design in mind.Amric said:Happy New Year, lads! Come to the bAAR and get a drink and enjoy some food made by our own Judas....
LD- Another A&A posted for July 8....I thought I'd better let you describe the keep/chateau whatever it is Frederick owns...but we're off the coast now...I judged winds good and it was a two day trip, it that is okay with you...
“Perhaps, can we berth there or will I have to cast anchor?”
“There is a small harbour, and I’ve extended the wharf to fit at least one large galley, it’ll do.”
Hours passed and the sun began to sink behind the outer rim of islands when finally Frederik pointed towards a small light on a rocky outcropping, “that’s it, and it looks like they are expecting us.”
Maria peered towards the light, “I see no harbour.”
“Beyond the rock, both village and harbour is in the bay behind, the light is only my house.”
“How do they know you’re coming?”
“Perhaps a scout on a horse in the woods on the coast, rangers you know.”
Maria shrugged, it sounded strange that they would know he was on her ship, but that was his problem, not hers.
Half an hour later they pulled around the Rock in the ever-dimming light and Maria was no longer able to see clearly the building atop as anything but a massive shadow with a small number of brightly lit windows.
“The shudders are closed the sea air is cool, you’ll not see much from here.”
Maria grunted and turned towards the harbour and the approach, her every attention to the helmsman and the man sounding depths in the bow.
Suddenly her first mate swore,
“What?” Maria never looked up,
“Look.”
Maria looked and swore and Frederik grinned, swinging lightly at anchor in the harbour was his small vessel gently bobbing on the small crappy waves of the protected natural harbour.
Still grinning he turned to her, “So that’s how they knew I was coming, I wonder how long they have been here.”
Maria merely swore and turned back to the task at hand.
