Not sure what you play LD but if it's 40K there is a con in Toronto this month. Not sure about anything else at the moment.

Depending on how things look I will be travelling up to Toronto next year for this con, so if I don't get up there in June/July I will most likely be there in November... although I'm not sure that's a great idea, I've been in Canada during the winter and I remember the many hours of deicing the plane before it took off....

I just love the misconceptions about Canada. Check a map. Southern Ontario, including T.O. and Mississauga, are below many of the states in the good ole US of A. Buffalo gets MUCH more snow than we do. I understand Minnesota's not exactly paradise in winter, either.

EJ, I have a big collection of the old S&T and SPI titles, along with some AH stuff, like Kingmaker. BTW, it's Nov8, sunny and 5c, which is around 42F.

BTW, I edited my post...forgot to add about the higher passes. SInce at the time frame we are in the midst of the little ice age it would be prefectly reasonable that the higher passes would still be impassable for a little while longer. I'll be sending those maps momentarily, LD...

I'm sorry to say that I must withdraw Christian Jensen from the Free Company. I do not have time to write for the FC along with my own AAR, as I have several very time-consuming obligations for school. At this point, school is starting to take up more and more time, and the next month especially is going to be very difficult. Maybe I will try to join the next FC book, but at this point, I cannot continue to write.

MAlexander -- Sorry to see you go. My, but we've lost a lot of newcomers early on in this Book.

As an aside, I went hunting for Frederik and Maria's conversation in Book IV and ended up reading the last few thread pages of the Book for what must be the fifth or sixth time. I continue to be awed by what we accomplished. For anyone that didn't participate and hasn't read Book IV, it comes highly recommended.

What does the FC look like on the march?

Are there wagons? Is there a set formation? What is the procedure for camp? Do we forage? That kind of thing.
