Hee hee...I'm really beginning to like Fritz. I hope the rest of you find his plight as hysterically funny as I do.

Incidentally, everyone and anyone should feel free to write bits for him. I only ask that he not be killed and that somehow, miraculously, he survives this night and manages to get on the last ship before it departs.

V.: up early...went to bed before midnight and woke up at 6:00, feeling inspired to do a little bit of writing. I'll have a Roos post up soon too.

If I recall correctly you once wrote in the SolAARium that you didn't do comedy that (or often) well if oyu can keep Fritz entertained (and entertaining) then I think you should reconsider

EDIT2 Post up I know that some of you would like to have posts before this, but the timing is lousy, with all of you over there So I'll be online for some time yet and WILL delete and repost one or several times at request, If on the other hand that I'm not here, I'm certain LD or T can delete and copy paste my post to a later spot.

V...would you mind editting your post slightly at the end. I don't mind you slaughtering yet even more of my Sipahi (although in my previous post you'll notice that Ishak thought he had sent them to fan out through the city) but Ishak's next move will be a little different than what you've written. Possibly the best edit would be simply to remove the last paragraph and leave it at the riderless horses wandering around in the street. I'll take it from there.

Just remember the Pits are large enough to trap horses, you cannot march your men across. The only way is around or down and up again, unles of course you decide to fill them

I've got a few ideas for the alleys, but I think I'll wait to see what the morning brings, though an F reaction post from his bell tower may be in order

V: You should have been around when I was writing at least that much on almost a daily basis. Contrary to what LD might tell you, a very large number of my 5000+ posts aren't spam. RJ will back me up on that won't he...won't you RJ?

BTW, RJ...as V pointed out just the other day, he's the one with the most posts in the thread. I just throw little tidbits in here and there to help LD keep the ball rolling.

Well, so much for thinking that today would be a slow one like yesterday. I have a bunch of reading ahead of me.

In my last di Bartollo post I hinted that they would arrive later than expected, but led by one of Landen's scouts. I don't know if anyone picked up the reigns on that one. I'll just have to read and find out.

BTW, there was some question about the fate of the horses. As far as I'm aware, loading animals of any type onto a transport was a long, tedious job, especially as animals aren't overly fond of water. Usually they were blindfolded and led on board, or hoisted by block and tackle. There wouldn't be enough time for that, given the circumstances.

As for Dimitirs' rather tardy Greeks, I think either they'll be left behind or could possibly be picked up from the South Harbour.

And Vald, you nailed the 'V' on the head. One 'No-Prize' is heading your way...
