Part XXXI: Norway
1st of Feburary, 1942 to 30st of June, 1942
The first ships were getting close to being created.
And finally, after all this time, the war in Canada was concluding.
It seemed England would fall by the end of the year at this rate. Their army was scattered in the far east, the British Isles and now Canada. Japan was rapidly advancing in India.
America had only begun to really start war production for their army, airforce and navy. Japan was clearly using this time to their advantage.
And soon,
Even Italy was getting a piece of the action again. After two years of doing nothing, they decided to finish the war they started a long time ago. The last Greek defence was crushed mercilessly.
Britain docked some boats in one of their ports, probably in response to the German fleet tearing their supply convoys. Unfortunately for them, Hitler was prepared for this.
Soon there was nothing left of the fleet.
The new destroyers had finally come. In the future, they would likely be assigned to a large fleet, but for now they would act as cover for transports.
And that wasn't all the industrial prowess that Germany had, for they had created a large research centre for jets and rockets.
But Hitler, ever bored and power hungry, decided to take out Norway.
No real plans, no preparations. Just get some men on some transports and ship them off to attack Oslo.
he also wanted to test England's abilities to fight off this looming menace.
The landings were a success.
The battle begun instantly.
Some boats were fleeing the city before the battle had ended, but the Germans were waiting to catch them.
These ancient ships were proving to be very strong against Germany's enemies.
That navy was ordered to crush the rest of the fleet.
And Oslo was finally won.

They surrendered the next day.
Germany was becoming naval.
