that is true, I love a long drawn-out Barbarossa where you're always worried they will win, and the front barely shifts until massive attacks come.
Unfortunately, their AI didn't seem be very focused on land units this game |:

also, I would make an intermission but hey, that was barely a challenge. Poland presented a far larger challenge than this. France did. Even Denmark did, really. My new IC is: 281/505, manpower 87.1 and leadership is 60.27 (which I will definitely need to get this naval tech), for those interested. I'll make an intermission when I fight UK, which will be an interesting entrance into naval fighting.
Ive played a bit, and only now does it seem that Japan and America and Britain are doing anything. Expect one update that goes for an expansive time (3 months), then probably updates of more around the area of 1-2 week intervals.

Part XXIX: Japan and the Pacific
Fall of Russia to 7th of December, 1941
While Germany was busy building and researching an excellent and strong navy, it seemed the British navy wasn't doing all too well as it was.
They had failed to stop the Americans from taking some Caribbean Islands. Bermuda was threatened almost directly now.
And more bad news for the British.
Afrika Korps single-handedly crushed the Iraqis.
Hitler was sitting in his office, as he often did, and noticed some Japanese achievements in the Pacific with awe. He felt that perhaps he could somehow contribute, but he wasn't willing to sacrifice the few ships that he had until he had build new ship. So he sent over his parachute division to help fight the Americans.
He would probably send more planes as the war would go on.
The Phillipines, at Hitler's recommendation having been invaded, was quickly defeated after Manila fell.
Singapore and India were now the new fronts of the war in the Pacific.
The Japanese were also attempting to seize oil supplies.
Oh, and Australia was going to fall hard. Most of their garrisons were defending the scattered naval ports in PNG. Australia had little chance against the Japanese marines.
Hitler was growing jealous of this rapid Japanese expansion. He knew he needed a strong navy to really be able to do anything more, and this would take a long time. So he began building naval bases and air bases along the Atlantic coast to try and destroy the USN.
Japanese were about to cross over the river and begin an invasion of India.
After only a week or two, Japan already had Singapore within its reach.
And the USA hadn't really even fully finished off Canada at this point. There was still fierce resistance.

How much resistance there is in Canada can be discussed, its just as likely that it takes forever to advance
You can add multiple regions too in air missions. Select region in the air mission and Shift+R-Click.
