The Baltic Sea
Cold northern winds
And the holy might of icy waves
It is the great Baltic Sea
Your midnight fear of death
Unfinished grave
Waiting for next sacrifices
Thousands of people
To take inside the freezing water
Once more sight to see you
Invisible power comes out into me
Wind blows wild with sea waves
Rising over with full hate
Striking the stone walls
Of the dark coastal rocks
She boils, she violently storms
But I don't hear this rage
I listen to her sadness and hear her pain
She sings to me about this by her windflaws
But stops...
And again she rises
And again the sea waits
How nice the evening sky over the sea
And the quiet whisper of grey waves something talks
To the sun going away
Into the endless space
Of my kind, but evil
The great Baltic Sea
Only some months after Sweden made its glorious peace with Novgorod, Erik of Pommern declared war on Holstein and its allies Pommern, Mecklenburg, Prussia, the Teutonic order and Friesland.
Basicly the reason was:
Erik of Pommern: "They laughed when I fell into the lav, the f*ckers! Now they should prepare to DIE!"
So the swedish aristocracy, touched by the noble reason, prepared their blue ships and traveled out onto the blue baltic sea.
Swedish soldier #1: "Why are we doing this?... And why does the floor move.. Uargh.."
Swedish soldier #2: "Come on, feel happy, be happy, you know? Hakuna Matata, det är ord som är bra!"
Swedish soldier #3: "Hakuna Matata det gör att man blir glad."
Swedish soldier #2: "Inga bekymmer, man är lycklig var dag."
TOGETHER: "Är en härlig frid, filosofi."
Swedish soldier #2: "Hakuna Matata."
.....
Swedish soldier #1: "What have that to do with me?"
Swedish soldier #2: "För, när han var ett vårtsvinsba..."
Swedish soldier #3: "Erm, I think we came away from the subject...
Swedish soldier #2: "Okey.. Maybe..."
Swedish soldier #1: "But Hakuna Mata are words that are great anyways, eh?"
Swedish soldier #2: "Yeah!"
So then the fleet continued with new hope to the sund and in 13th March of the blessed year of 1421 the swedish fleet intercepted the Mecklenburg fleet.
After a battle that was holding under one month and fourteen days, the swedish fleet was victorious.
Swedish soldier #3: "The Mecklenburg troops can really dance, but we are better! But I can't understand how the lazy bastards could continue with the dance under fourtyfour days.. I don't feel my legs anymore you know?"
Swedish soldier #2: "Yeah I know, but this a war, we all have to make some sacrifices!"
Swedish soldier #3: "You are maybe right... But it was fun!"
Swedish soldier #2: "mmh, it was..."
The 4th July of 1421 the army of Svea Lifgarde unloaded into Jylland and save it from the Holstein army after a fierce battle.
Swedish soldier #2: "Continue to throw the pigs soldiers, the enemy is retreating!"
Swedish soldier #3: "Breakthrough! It is a breakthrough, EVERYONE ADVANCE! For the pigs, for the danish pigs!"
Swedish soldier #1: "Weren't we here for helping our king?"
Swedish soldier #2: "No... We needed to resupply our ship, and after some discussion we got into the conclussion that Ehrenstrahl realy needed something different then logs, and we have heard that danish pigs taste realy good when they are fried..."
After the glorious victory the Svea Lifgarde continued into Mecklenburg itself, but after a disapointed defeat in the Mecklenburg capital, the Svea lifgarde had to retreat and replan their actions, but they ran into the wrong direction...
Swedish soldier #1 in Vorpommern: "What the hell, why does everyone speak german here?"
Swedish soldier #2 in Vorpommern: "We don't got any german allies, and this city is undefended, so why not take it?"
Swedish soldier #1 in Vorpommern: "You are maybe right..."
Swedish soldier #2 in Vorpommern: "Of course I am!"
Holstein accepted peace with Denmark in 5th November 1422 on the terms: Holstein got annexed by Denmark. But after some deaths after conquering the city the revolt risk become alot higher.
Erik of Pommern: "How does it feel to get your head pushed into the lav! Eh?! Eh?!"
May 29th of the blessed year of 1423 the city of Vorpommern fell to Swedish troops.
But because of a little plague in different part of the nation, the stability got lowered...
Swedish doctor: "We know. We know... We shouldn't have given the food to our patients that the other patients left behind.. But our budget you know? We have to keep the launch costs so low as possible... Even if some thousends dies because of it.. It is the unfathomable plan of God. Not our fault!"
The 1st September 1423 the swedish armies arrived into Hinterpommern.
The 20th May of the blessed year of 1424 Mecklenburg accepted a total annexation by Denmark.
The 1st September 1424 the Teutonic order accept peace with Denmark with that Teutonic order succeeded to bribe the danish Generals with 40 gold.
The 13th September in the blessed year of 1425 Hinterpommern got out and kissed the swedish troops that liberated them after two years of sieging and canabalism had become a usual way to get food in Hinterpommern.
But it took over a year before Pommern accepted peace with the peaceful sweeds.
Swedish aristocrat #1: "Of course we shall get Hinterpommern, but I want those 75 gold, if we split them it become too little for buying that Wagon 2000 Supremacy that I want!"
Swedish aristocrat #2: "But if we force them to give us some of their money all the time in all eternity, that would be great, eh?"
Swedish aristocrat #1: "Mmh, maybe..."
So after a long discussion the liberated Hinterpommern got posessed by Sweden and the rest of Pommern was put in a vassal status and would be protected by Sweden by now on.
Think that after many years of war, Sweden even accepted to protect Pommern, we shall all look on the good willing way the swedish people behave!
