As the flag is for armies and fortresses(cities) I'd go for Army one, and for CoA(shield) the Civil one.

The problem is that there are three accurate alternatives...
1: Stars and Bars, adopted March 4,1861

2: Stainless Banner, adopted May 26, 1863

3: Third National, adopted March 4, 1865

These three are the possible ones.

Ok, if I have to follow Raghnall, I would say: use the first one Styrbiorn. Use that one. If we go public and the majority says to change it we can still do it

Well, if it's supposed to be historically accurate, then the obvious choice to me would be the actuall flag of The CSA, not one of the army or Navy. Granted, it may not be the most well known, but I think we should strive to be as historically correct as possible.

I just noticed a major error, I sent you a SWE flag which is highly incorrect (in fact it's the Chinese Dragon flag...). If you already have extracted the files, replace that file with the original Swedish flag made by Paradox.

I'll post this in the other forum too.
