Mmm, it might be time to bring the petition back up then...
I am very much looking forward to the game and I will buy it the day it hits the shops. I don't care if it would be released in the same state as HOI was personally since Paradox are superb at patching and they DO listen to their customers. But I hope for their sake that Victoria will be in better state than HOI on the day of the release since the majority of players probably shelve it when they discover what state the game is in and those people might not be that enthusistic as we the forum members are about Paradox.
Yes, I know paradox is brilliant in the patching department, but im afraid that people that don't use internet will be pissed, please take a couple of minutes to think of them in todays gaming environment.
Anyone that expects no bugs is a clown, but a highly polished, work as described game is what is expected.
Patches after this should be about minor bugfixing, and gravy.....nothing more, nothing less.
Think of it from this point of view, as something different if caring for people that don't have internet does not reach u.
Lets say Paradox game B was released in a highly polished, well made way, worked fine out of the box, and needed very little polishing.......Now, instead of 6 months of patching, etc, Paradox announces in a month or 2 that they have begun work on EU3, Or HoI2........
See what i mean? But im sure that Johan and Patric will duck in here and convince me that Victoria will be perfectly fine out of the box! yes?
