Ah, that's what I get for sleeping through European History class in school! Thanks for pointing out what should have been obvious to me.

I love his guides because they are practically foolproof and easy to follow. I have had a few instances where there were some things that went wrong, but it was all rng type stuff.
EDIT: One problem with that particular guide though is that even though it is the same version as mine, he is getting cheaper and faster justifications than I am(48 vs 63 PP and 240 vs 315 days on Austria) and the UK keeps guaranteeing Greece.
Given that the Yugoslavia tree is under development, I made a bug report that I hope will correct the issue reported in the original post of this thread.

Best to link this at the first patch thread too when it comes as those are usually read carefully by the devs.
Retreat giving Romania a thin stripe of your territory and let them in and spread out, then you cut and encircle them. Repeat until they can't stop you anymore.Since we got a nice thread going here on Yugoslavia tips, maybe someone can help me out. I mostly followed the Bittersteel Hugeoslavia guide, but I can't get past Romania.
A quick Recap: Yugoslavia flipped Communist in Nov 1936, and annexed Austria in Sept 1937. I declared war on Greece (which dragged in Romania) in Mar 1938. It took me only 6 weeks to capitulate Greece in May 1938. I lost only 15k manpower at this point, and took out ~90k Romanians who attacked across the river into my entrenched northern Army. I left a few Cav divisions behind to guard my ports in Greece, kept my Paratroopers in reserve, but moved the rest to the Romanian border.
The first screenshot is after getting those troops in position, with full org and planning bonus. I have 40 divisions on the Romanian border, all 10/0 Infantry + SupART. Opposing me are ~25 Romanian divs, but they are supplemented by 11 (!) volunteer divisions from Italy and Germany. I've tried different micro moves, as well as the Force Attack and Battleplanner set to Agressive, but I can't make any progress. The combination of entrenchment, terrain, river crossings, and volunteers is too much for me. Bittersteel makes it look easy microing his way in the north, but I can't take a single tile from Romania in my game.
I did join the Comintern before attacking Greece, and switched from Superior Firepower to Mobile Warfare (I wanted the late game manpower boost), so maybe that was a bad idea.
I know my template is barebones, and if I had lots of 7/2 divs, tanks, or CAS, this would be easier. But Yugoslavia only starts with 3 mils, and it was tough to get what I have on the field by early 1938. I would have had to delay for 6+ months to get enough equipment to make a difference, which would let my enemies stronger and Greece more likely to get guaranteed.
Any and all advice is welcomed. Thanks.
