i'll keep it short and simple
so me playing as The United Kingdom, if i turn the king's fascisti.

1.) Will all the commonwealth nations follow G.B and enact fascist regime ( shortly become a member of the fascist family :p ) ?

2.) How will this affect vassals of UK ?

3.) Will the vassal nation have a choice on fighting their major ( as in opposing the fascisti ideology ) ?

4.) How will this affect National Unity & World tensions ?

UNITED KINGDOM, being an empire spread all over the world ( well, mostly ) will make a great impact on "WORLD PEACE"

THANK YOU :)

AFAIK

1) - certainly not

2) - they'll still just be puppets, i imagine there is a possibility they could revolt, especially if you had to become fascist t hrough civil war however

3) possibly

4) i imagine national unity would go down in a civil war

1) The "commonwealth" is effectively represented by the fact that Britain starts out leading the allies faction. As I understand it, nations in factions use the special rules of the faction leader when it comes to government type even if they don't have the same government, so any democratic nations which stay in the allies faction after GB becomes fascist will use the rules for fascist nations. Long term though, it seems unlikely they will stay there unless GB spends political power to try and switch them to fascist too.

2) Completely unknown. I don't think we've been given much info on how protectorates work full stop, let alone how government change will impact them.

3) Again, still unknown. It would be kind of odd if protectorates couldn't fight for their own independence though.

4) Although I don't think it's been explicitly stated, I'd imagine that national unity is affected by support for the ruling party, meaning switching governments will probably leave you with lower national unity anyway. As for world tension, being fascist in and of itself doesn't seem to raise world tension. However, if every nation in the allies starts acting like an aggressive warmonger that's obviously going to push up world tension quite fast.

This has only been confirmed for Fascist-led factions, who have the same "emergency war" power as fascist countries do. But I doubt it extends to all ideology-specific mechanics. A Fascist dictatorship probably won't start holding elections just because they decide to join the UK side in the war... ;)
