That's just a string of bad luck. It generally evens out over time. Rulers with bad stats tend to have lots of unpleasant events, rulers with good stats get really good events.

Yeah that is sucking right now, but wait until you get a 8 or 9 diplo king/ruler and watch the boundary disputes roll in. That will pick you up. It all evens out in the long run of a campaign, or maybe a few.

In the long run, there is no such thing as luck. It is, however, very well established that a 3-3-3 monarch will go insane and live for another 62 years, while half a dozen 8-8-8 heirs will die on hunting trips. Just because Johan likes to troll you.

I think I once read something about having an Artist adviser preventing Comets, at least. So, if your luck is bad & you're stability keeps getting decked, that might be another reason to get in an Artist. Not sure it's right though.

I had a 7/8/9 (HA!) ruler, and my stability pretty much never went over 1. I actually did have it at three once, but something made it go -2. Q_Q

The one I'm hating right now is "build an army for our nation". It's fine when you're small, but jeez, I have more troops than the rest of the world put together. I don't need any more, and getting up to my maximum would be a huge waste of time and money.

And to add insult to injury, the popup message that happens when you get this event says something like "we are easy prey for our enemies". OUR ENEMIES ARE COWERING IN FEAR. Ugh.

There should be something added to the check for that one. Like "has less than 20,000 troops" or something.

Not a bad idea.

Also, you could change the 2 options so one will not give a stab hit if you have a theologian, the other won't if you have a natural scientist.

Or, better, they'd give a chance of no hit.

I don't think it appears if you have atleast 50% of your FL

I removed "Heir Falls Ill" event because I was getting it pretty much every 3 years, and I would just save and reload to get rid of it anyway.

I just made an events giving & removing a flag, "heir_survival", which when you have it, prevents those overcommon events. They still happen, but much less frequently.

Possible, but I did not receive the warning in the call to arms box if that's the case. My stability was more important than my alliance with the Pope.
