To the bereaved, and to whom it may concern. Today on the eve of September, 6th, the 1024th journey of our lord the Phantom Hunter. The Grand Saltigue, and our Emperor, Waldemar met death for the last time, and greeted her with the war cry of an army.
To whom who knew him, he was a father, husband, Emperor, mentor, and legendary warrior. Being born far before any living memory in 753, in the province of Austisland, of the Icelandic administrative duchy, to a powerful courtier, he quickly gained power. With his connections fostered by his father he was also crowned as the count of Austisland and Sudurland, in the Valbjotstadur castle being crowned the province's Count in 769, and quickly set out on a quest to become the strongest man to ever have lived. After bidding his time for two years growing his power base and launching the fist of many infrastructure projects, he declared the War for the Vassalization of Nordland, after the crowned count insulted him for being of a lower birth, Waldemar declared "Now as watch as this high born rests his head under the boot of the low born."
The war was swift, brutal, and personal. Taking the battlefield for the first time with a mere 1000 men he battled an army of 500 raised in haste by his adversary and within six months the count surrendered. Kissing the boot of whom he looked down on. The count would meet his end as he disappeared into the night, never to be heard of again.
After the battle he was invited into the lodge of the ferocious Rain Runners, and being challenged to duel by an elder member and taking part in a initiation ritual was inducted into the society, as a fledgling. He would not stay there long.
After declaring himself Jarl of Iceland on June, the 6th of 777, he met with death for the first time. Waldemar welcomed her and treated her to a lavish feast as the honored guest. Impressed with his charismatic, and commanding presence, death offered a deal. A skull for day, a heart for a month, a life for a year, this death was due, less the end he'd find.
Thus, he became immortal. He would keep his barging of nearly 300 years. Having, conquering death he launched a campaign into the de jure Kingdom of Erdvilasland, he was crowned King, on June the 28th, 834. For his valor in the conquest and service to the lodge of The Rain Runners the gathering of Hero's named him Grand Hero, upon which time he commissioned his War Mask, The White Guardian of Austisland, and later his fetish, The Great Totem of Waldemar.
In the conquest of the Jarldom of Vijnayati, in 855, he was gifted the great sword Dyrnwyn, also known as White-Hilt, the sword of Rhydderch Hael. Which he wielded into every battle and struck fear into any who gazed upon the fiery blade before they met their end by its blade.
On May the 28th of the year 880, he untied and reformed the Qibiard faith. Becoming the First Grand Satigue of the Qibiard Faith.
Finally in the year 977, on June 6th, on the bicentennial of his rise to power over the Jarldom of Iceland, he was crowned Emperor of Buquqidine, Th Empire of the north, in the Grand Temple of Phantom Hunter which rests at the Holeyest of site of the Qibiard faith at Valbo on the shores of Baltic Sea just North of the County of Uppland.
During the Great Holy War for the Kingdom of Mangirdaitisa(Crimea) of 1024. He challenged the Khagan Beidras III Konopacki of Damascus to a duel. This would be his last. For the underhanded Khagan struck a grievous blow to our Emperor's heart, whilst declaring his victory over the Khagan and delivering a fair pardon for a worthy opponent. As the Phantom Hunter left the Hunting grounds in the sky for the hunting grounds to the west, he welcomed Waldemar into his hunting band. May he hunt evermore...
Waldemar's land, wealth, artifacts, and blessing is hereby, according to the law and will of the lost, believed to his eldest next of kin, his grandson, Arnbjorn "Waldemar II" von Wittelsbach, Jarl of Cernywia (Finland). To be crowned on January the 1st, 1025, in the Grand Temple of the Phantom Hunter at Valbo. Long may he live.
Long live the empire,
The Chancellor of the Empire of Buquqidine,
Jarl Botulfr von Wittelsbach
