Since things threatened to derail our nomination thread, I'm going to open a new thread here, including a poll. I'm interested in gauging the EUIV forum's opinion.

We've used the OscAARs for the name for EUIII for a very long time -- this year, I kept that title for the EUIII thread, but who knows how active EUIII AARland will be next year?

Here are a few suggestions from forumites:

Knight of the GAARter
The OscAARs
PulitzAAR

I will post this here since the new thread was started,

The name seems out of place within the new consensus which has arrived in the wake of Victoria, HoI and Crusader Kings.
There is no new consensus, only new awards. The OscAARs predated WoW, Showcase or any of these others because it was once the only game in town. Everyone was very happy when Lord Durham started the OscAARs back the day. It seemed a natural name for a year end award for great achievement using our normal nomenclature of including AAR in any and all things. I fail to see why there is a need to change that now. In fact, I find myself disappointed that we might even consider such a thing. It seems to disregard forum history such as it might be considered now.
