Current plans are for only contest winners (there will be more contests in the future, though when and for which games is yet to be decided) to have access to it.
So currently, that's 3 people, and it'll remain a very limited number.

Same for the small icon, though some other major wiki contributors get it too. Currently me and my core group of volunteers.

No guarantees that the acquisition mechanisms will remain the same indefinitely though, but it is unlikely either the avatar or icon will ever be common.

I've gotta be honest, that was the biggest draw for me. Well, that and having an up-to-date and good-looking wiki—I spent so many hours reading it as a player new to grand strategy games two years ago, it's nice to be able to give back and help other new players. I shall strive to be worthy of my avatar and continue improving the wiki over time!

Congratulations to everyone else who entered and helped update the wiki, too!

@Dauth: Thanks for the info on the mod structure and scope pages. I put in a few additions to the mod structure page last night as my final edits for the contest, do let me know if I went overboard with the icons and links. I didn't know you could use scopes in the console; I'll need to spend some time learning about them, but I hope to be able to meaningfully update that page one day.

@Philadelphus, I'm now not totally sure its correct. Some scopes can be called from the console, maybe not all of them. I'm not a modder either.
