If you have a group of customers who buy every DLC on release and even pre-order them no matter their quality then why listen to them, they're going to buy the stuff anyway.
Yes, but don't you see how that's the biggest issue here? They have managed to turn the shut-up-and-take-my-money-crowd against them, and considering this is a bunch of people whose pockets PDX has had a rather limitless access to - this mistake might end up costing them a lot. for the first time in twelve years, I have refunded a PDX game and I have no intention of repurchase it unless the price drop by at least half. That's 7 bucks out of the window for PDX, and I'm a part of a 15-20 people MP community where everyone will be doing the same, and I doubt we're the only ones. This is why a community uproar among the previously loyal fans probably is necessary because it sends a signal to PDX that they might be losing some of that guaranteed money, and at the end of the day, money is all they really care about.
