So it begins. Let's see how it all turns out.

Hmm, actually I think something slightly Shakespearian is need. Cry Havoc! And let slip the dogs of War!

Under 100 years left. Doable?

I think so, early signs are promising, if I get hit by a catostrophic series of bad events then civil war I think itll be all over though.

Ive been listening to alot of pink floyd recently so "a momentary lapse of reason" does it for me :). Interestingly..."One slip" and "The dogs of war" are titles of two of the songs on the album :)

BB WAR MADNESS

A Momentary Lapse of Reason

Here we are, finally! So far loads of countries have declared war (seemingly for no reason whatsoever). I will be making very few comments and shall let the screenies do the talking. Basically I hope to wipe everyone off the earth in one big war, 15 - 25 years I dont know (never tried it), I will try to take every province off minors then annex them when they re-declare, majors may need 3/4/5 wars - I dont know. It would be good to get some peace inbetween, but we'll see how that goes. Perhaps I should have shown some screenies on where the troops were at the start...oh well, one thing I only just noticed...I didnt let manpower go back up before starting the war.... I did however get military access throughout most of the world, I really wasnt going to be bothered planning each incursion on foreign soil based on their attrition rates, theres already enough to think about, anyway let the games commence...

Note: any peace deals that are shown, whether offered by the ai or me were accepted.

And it begins in earnest. Theres something satisfying about launching simultaneous invasions on all the countries in the world, even if its tedious to set up. What are Brittany and the Golden Horde still doing hanging around in the 18th century?

Brittany broke vassalage ages ago and Ive never bothered with them since, I think Russia stalled on the Horde after England took Samara and diverted the bears attention away from them.

Nah, I didnt (not bothered), even if/when they bail they will be stuck in a load of wars anyway cause Im making seperate peaces :D , so hopefully that will tie up alot of nations...wish Id thought about this earlier and I could have gotten a uber alliance together, perhaps next time....

I guess theres still time once the first round of BB wars ends. But you probably won't need allies will you? The hardest areas, I assume, to conquer will be Asia and India due to problems with getting enough troops and your allies would be of little help there anyway.

The thing is nations wont declare war if there still at war with someone else, so it all becomes more managable.

Getting troops to Asia/India isnt the big problem I thought it would be, England built and continues to build an uber fleet to fly along the super highways, getting around the world doesnt seem to take all that long :)

I see them all begging for peace there in that last shot. The next round will have plenty of annexations since they're all being reduced a lot now.

Early days yet Duke, however the begging goes on seemly forever..
