I hadnt seen the bunker website, quick look, it has some good stuff on ESE & offensive supply so will definitely come back to this to absorb the detail. If you are going to expand its topics, I did a good thread (here?) on AoD's synthetic rares and synthetic oil plants so you can use that as a starting point if you include this as one of the new topics.
Fixing the ai transport fleet stop / split at game reload will be good progress.
While I accept that a single F12 procedure to display the province id number does not provide a lot of micromanagement reduction, I enable the prov id display perhaps 100 or more times during a SP game where I am editing saved game files and or developing game customization; that save on typing really adds up. (Display of the prov id # currently turns off as soon as one exits the game.) Because this id # is tucked away in the map's lower right corner it doesn't interfere with game play, I only see it when I intentionally go looking for it. Just changing the default status on saved game load, or game start, from disabled off to enabled on would give me what I want; and if the program coding is half decent, this change will only require a minor edit to one line of existing program code. Those players who still don't like seeing the prov id # can still use F12 to turn it off.
With all the customization that I'm currently working on, here is my recommendation for making this process a little easier for players undertaking this work:
Setup permanent display of the province id number, and:
Make use of the unused black horizontal bar at the bottom of the map display, only seen with larger monitors (its visible on 27" size monitor but not on smaller laptop displays) to add the following functionality:
Shift the existing 'tech team unused' and 'slider move available' warning icons to the left-hand side of the black bar. This means that these icons will remain visible when, say, the tech research screen is opened on top of the map display. Not only displaying their last 'view map' status, but actively updating with game time progressing.
Add the following toggle on / toggle off user buttons, starting at the right-hand side of the black bar and closest to the province id #: the acceptall control button, the debugai control button, and the nofog control button. These control buttons will of course be disabled when a multiplayer game occurs, so only enabled during single player games. Therre may be other existing controls? that could be moved here as well. Beginner players would find the nofog option useful for learning the game basics. Obviously for smaller monitors these functions will just be located to this same region of the map, like as already occurs for the prov id #. For Debugai, one doesn't want to have this overlay displayed continuously, so a one press toggle on / toggle off control button is going to get a lot of use.
