Let us hope that the new Emperor lives up to his namesake.
You mean dying in his 30s, with so much squandered potential?

That would certainly make an interesting twist! And having his empire split on his death between four guys who promptly started fighting each other?
That quick after birth, it will surely be a long regency. Full of intrigue and danger, I wonder?

I'm not ashamed to say that I just binge-read your entire AAR, including the CKII parts, and I loved it all. That's what happens when you have tons of free time and no social life. Glory to the true Roman Empire!
Sadly, there must be a short hiatus on updates. The holidays are busy of course, but I'm also near the end of the game. There's some ideas I want to work in, but I'm pretty sure I need to play to the end to make them work. As well, my playing is working slowly because I'm making critical edits to make the Vic2 conversion work well. Not to mention wedding planning, Skyrim, EU4 (I might actually nail the 'Azur semé de lis or' achievement sometime soon. Yeah, I'm not that good), and a sudden need to dust of my ten-year-ago percussionist skills. But do not worry, I have no plans to abandon this!
I think Skyrim alone is enough of a reason for not having time to update. That game is a serious time consumer. I went back to it for the third time during the summer to finally muscle my way through it and it still took an entire month of nonstop gameplay to complete most of the quests. I can only imagine how long it'd take with all that other stuff to do.
Pfft. In Russia, I finished Skyrim twice and got halfway through my third playthrough before I decided I wanted to play it on the desktop to see how much more awesome it is.
Although I do second the sentiment, take time off if you need it; don't update for the sake of updating or you risk having lousy updates.

Hurrah! Now let's just hope he doesn't die young and his empire collapse.
March! March! March!
All nations must give into the Roman Empire's demand for aesthetically pleasing borders or be crushed!
All hail Alexander the Great II!
He shall be called Megas Alexandros!
I say he should go for Hindustan next!
I'm interested in the number of independent nations at the start of the game compared to the end. I made a weak attempt at doing just that in one of my CK2 games and it astonished me how there were way less at the end than I thought. And that's it for EU3! I'll do some summary posts while I work on the conversion. Is there anything you'd like to see mentioned or addressed?
