I've been playing the Horse Lords for a while and only today did I realize that keeping holdings around as nomads seriously cuts into your vassal taxes.

Controlling three or more holdings pretty much evaporates vassal tax. I'm not arguing that this is a bad design or anything, since quite frankly, Horde are already very powerful in hands of a player who knows what they're doing.

What I'm saying is that this penalty should be more clear in the tooltip. At the moment, all it says is that there is a penalty associated with controlling holdings, but it does not state what penalties are involved. Anyone who played non-hordes before might just assume that the penalties are similar to the "over demesne limit", even though that is clearly not the case.

This can easily confuse the player when they see that they are not receiving any vassal taxes at all.

I think just clarifying the penalties for inefficient land management in the tooltip would go a long way in demystifying the game mechanics and making it more transparent to the players.

Current tooltip for inefficient land management:
You have too many holdings in your personal demesne. As a nomad you can only have one holding without penalties. However you might want to keep the land yourself so you can pillage it.

Suggested amendment:
You have too many holdings in your personal demesne. As a nomad you can only have one holding without receiving penalties to your vassal tax collection. However you might want to keep the land yourself so you can pillage it.

EDIT: Come to think of it, could there be other effects of inefficient land management that I'm not aware of?

Paradox is usually shy in this subforum, but @Darkrenown has suddenly started answering to a few threads.

Btw Darkrenown, can we (the community) be helpful with filtering the best threads here? Would it be useful to give you a list of threads that are precise and constructive enough to deserve some feedback? By opposition to all the threads with wishful thinking but no concrete ideas?
