Curzon Line D - OK.

Bir Tawil is possible. It could be added as an act of mercy for this 'forever alone' territory.

Durand Line is already possible:

Hmm do you think there would be a way to clear up internal province border shadows? The dark inlays near edges of prov borders. Maybe this could visually 'expand' provinces and could lessen congestion problems, and make things clearer for places that would need clarity, like in say the Caucasus or Yugoslavia.

Very impressive. - and thanks for Gallipoli!

Btw, I see static flags there. Are they your work? I am still looking for a quick way to produce them.

No problem.

All of those flags are made by me, there are still many left to be done, but at least flags for all 1936 starting countries are finished.

I know you don't mention any ETAs, so that's why I'm asking you this instead: what else remains to be done before the next release?

1. Sea-zones positions - very boring...
2. Provinces names corrections.
3. Revolt file.
4. Ports.
5. Sea areas and regions.

Hmm do you think there would be a way to clear up internal province border shadows? The dark inlays near edges of prov borders. Maybe this could visually 'expand' provinces and could lessen congestion problems, and make things clearer for places that would need clarity, like in say the Caucasus or Yugoslavia.
I'll make some graphic tests when the map will be completed.

Living in the region I really have an issue with the Trier region in Germany. It should be named Bonn, since the city of Trier is not only geographically south of the city of Koblenz, but actually in the Koblenz region (south of the river). Since Bonn was the de facto capital of West Germany (1949-1990) it would be even historical relevant to the game.

And I personally would split Lübeck, because with the current map the Duchy of Holstein wouldn't have a connection to the other parts of Germany if Lübeck and Hamburg are independent. But I think this would make the provinces too small... We can't have everything.

Maybe its too late, but.....can the modders put the cities of Ceuta and Melilla as a provinces (like Hong Kong or Macao). That would be great for MDS2 and NWO.

Anyway, this project is great, cheers and beers for the modders

I was thinking about that, this would need just to add a nameplate for Lübeck and extend Kiel province to Schwerin and Lüneburg, so you should see it in the next E3Map version. I planned to split Kiel province too, to keep Kiel on the east and add Heide on the west.

I think we discussed about look of that area and concluded to keep current setup as final. Also Bonn is actually in Köln province and as Rhineland-Palatinate and North Rhine-Westphalia were in two separate occupation zones (French and British) the border between Köln and Trier can't be changed.

That is awesome.

Not that I'm fond of zounds of tiny provinces, but tremendous amount of work this piece of art required (and still does) makes me stand with my jaw dropped.
Both of'em, actually.

I'd also like to second JHRINDO's wish for making the borders less shadowy. It just clutters the map and feels dirty.

I like the borders as they are. Having a straight, dark line instead of dots is somehow more clear and fits to a computer game very well, making separate provinces look, well, separate.
