That's really nice! about those islands:
1. Coral Sea islands, you mean these ones, right?. I think that it should be enough with drawing them in the map linking their ownership with Townsville or Innisfail province as they lack of strategical importance, they are very close to Australian shore and are not claimed (AFAIK) by any other nation in the area and there's neither a seperatist movement , also AFAIK, in those islands, so they could neither serve as a revolter.
2. Ashmore and Cartier islands: They could be a potential Indonesian claim, which i don't know if they claim those island nowadays, i think they could be in...

Hi,

When do you think this map project will be finished, at least to beta? Do you aim to complete this within this year, a Christmas present perhaps? What is your goal and estimate?

I personally am waiting this with great enthusiasm. I would be one of those people wanting more provinces.

When this is released, it will be the end of Iron Cross 'expansion', I feel. (As an ex player of IC Im quite fed up with it; the painfully slow AOD & Arma, and no new features to DH was the last straw, and even the forum is almost like a graveyard with few zombies occasionally popping up from graves.) DH is the future of Hoi2.

I don't like to give any concrete dates, the only one thing I can say is that Christmas 2012 is rather impossible date. Year 2013 is much more probable as still USA, Canada and Pacific Islands are incomplete and I definitely won't make them in just 2 months due lack of free time. Also to make this map fully playable there must be done many fixes in text files.

It's damn great. Does the september version works well with 1.02?

With patch 1.02 yes, with patch 1.03 no.

Are you going to release the new version as soon as those port icons are placed?

All positions in area of Australia and New Zealand need to be fixed. Also some things don't work properly with patch 1.03, there are still some 'UNKNOWN STRING WANTED' in game, but I can just skip it for some time.

Seriously, this mod looks awesome. Since I'm kind of waiting for 1.03 final anyway at the moment, I hope that by then, there's going to be a 1.03 version of this incredible mod :)

Dear all,

I don't know if this issue has been addressed before, but I think the only thing which prevents us from playing with this truly excellent map (for which we can thank you hardly enough) is the rewriting of certain sections of the ai files; namely those which refer to provinces by their numbers.
Instead of the original numbers (eg. 105), the new numbers must be written in (eg. 234 235), so that the deployment of the forces cover the same areas.

Most parts of the ai files like gde, ecc, can remain untouched.

Is this correct or I am missing something???

EDIT: I was thinking of using the files of a mod, which has good ai, but have not decided which one...

Some feedback

Some feedback concerning the release:

unfortunately it crashes after a few days without giving a precise error message. Also, the captions of the tabs (intelligence, production, ecc.) are not visible.

Anyone facing the same problem?

Thanks Mumia,i test you map to Rise of Mankind(maybe MDSDH too:p),wait version 1.0 finished ,because mod 1983 : Doomsday need more provs .Improved imformation for units(Infantry ,all 3000 live 2900 lost 100 and etc) included?

All text files, including AI, should be rewritten completely just after North America and Pacific Islands will be finished.

Is it 1.03 compatible?

I tested it only with patch 1.03 so better don't use it with older versions.

First I should ask if you installed patch 1.03, if no, it may be a problem. If you still get a CTD, please post your savedebug.txt file here, there should be an answer what happened to you. Adaptation of E3 Map to 1.03 is not completely finished, some files are missing, I just wanted to upload it as fast as possible.

Finally looks like somebody lives there.. .GOOD JOB!

Casualties statistics need to be added yet, just like other features from 1.03.

Yes, definitely. Currently I'm collecting high quality maps of USA from '20s and '30s and also I need to make a list of potential revolters to not forget about anything in future, I don't like to redraw the same area few times. I should buy new computer in November so finally I'll be able to work with much bigger files in Photoshop.
