Alas I cannot continue this AAR due to a hard drive crash... perhaps in the future I will return to this era and write again. Thank you for your support and encouragement in this project. Here is the final tally:

Rulers of the House of Pskov

Domazhir I (1039-1088)
- Widely respected in the current lineage of the House of Pskov
- Twice married first to Sviatoslava of Pskov (1049 – 1078) then to Ambrosia Gioberti (1053 -1108) of Italia
- Legacy marred by the siring of a bastard child, Demian, who would rise to prominence in the court of Pskov

Vsevolod I (1068-1109) called “The Cruel” r. 1088-1109
- 2nd son of Domazhir I by Sviatoslava
- Heavily influenced by his elder brother Demain
- Married to Sophie Knytling (1068-1109) who he treated cruelly, and who was often ill, but nevertheless bore him children; she eventually killed him during sex in revenge for his rape of Ambrosia Gioberti. Sophie was canonized at her death

Zinovii I (1086-1121) called “The Zealous) r. 1109-1121
- known for his zealous piety, Zinovii was a weak ruler who was often torn between Demian’s advice and his scheming brother Rogvolod (1088 - )
- initiated first crusade type wars against the neighboring pagans, substantially enlarging the lands of Pskov, although at the expense of treasure and domestic tranquility
- latter years were marked by a degeneration into insanity & schizophrenia as he listened to the “prophecies” of his insane daughter Elizaveta (1104-1129) who was canonized at her death
- married Evpraxia Rurikovich (1088- ), heiress of Polotsk

Leontii I (1105 -1160 ) r. 1121-1160
- current ruler of Pskov and the first to take the title “Prince”
- formerly married to Evgeniia Rurikovich (1102-1131) whom he had assassinated because of her failure to bear him sons (although she did bear 5 daughters)
- The death of Demian in 1123 gave Leontii increased freedom to rule Pskov as he wishes.

A shame. This was an AAR I followed with great interest.

Ouch :( Sorry to see this one go. Still, it was a very enjoyable read.

Thanks so much... you and Stnylan were my two most consistent readers. I really enjoyed writing this. The characters almost wrote themselves. I am sad to see them go.
