Too late I saw the possibility to decrease my cgr and gain a decent buffer state. When the Axis was about to dow Turkey I had couped the nation and almost influenced it all the way home. But then just a week or so too soon Turkey was attacked.

I wonder if the Axis had even dowed Turkey if they had been in my alliance. Well at least I have Finland.

I must also say that I am worried I have built all my AA Guns to no good as Germany has still to show its Luftwaffe. I guess I will gain that knowledge sooner or later, right?

Well the jap election bug seem to have messed up this campaign to the point were USSR had no possibilty to stop the axis assault. Japan annexed New Zeeland and attacked USSR in the East with some +80 divs when the campaign was abandoned in early 1940.

Hopefully we can play a new 39 campaign soon. Friday has been suggested.

I dont agree with that,

bug had major influence on USA dow value but it had no effect on SU. SU was not developing any tanks and without mobility it couldnt compete with armoured spearhead/encircelment-destruction doctrine, and after 3 weeks of war over 100 su divisions where encirceld and with no chance of getting out and moscow has been taken, uk was only in gibraltar and war was over in may/40

SU and Finland had over 200 divisions and forifed line behind river forts 3-5 level with AA

I was attacking with 45 tank, 27 mech and 50 inf-e (inf was only for holding front line)

So i think that my tanks bring us victroy not bug.

You are correct Tom. SU couldn't stop Germany with its tanks. But as Japan election didn't trigger SU cgr was very high all game long and SU didn't have the free IC to develop nice tanks of its own.

Thus the bug gave the victory to Axis. US and SU actually gave up before Germany even launched Barbarossa.
