Next regular session is on Monday 16 June at 18:00 CET. Who can play at this time? I just got back from my vacation and can play basically any time Monday to Wednesday this week. From what I remember, Tomar should be back from his vacation as well. Post here which times you can play.

Re ending the previous game, well obviously a side may concede when they see fit. To summarize the situation broadly by end 41 we had (in terms of country positions):
a strong (or moderately strong) Germany, a dying Japan, and a weak Italy on the axis side vs a weak (and perhaps dying) USSR, a strong UK, and a strong US... so this was heading towards an allied vcitory...

Likely developments where that Japan would have been kicked out of the its remanining half rest of China and its remaining possessions in Asia (India and a few islands) fairly quickly while UK would have continued to hold on to Italy south of the Po river...while trying to stalemate the axis in the Middle east....

Gradully in 1942 more and more US troops would have started to appear in Europe (as the US economy grew txs to the Japan/ China/ Korea possessions)...

The suspense would have been on the eastern front, how long could the USSR survive in Siberia ? ....

Well, I had very few divs trying to hold the germans back. On the other hand I have taken out Manchuria and was about to take northern china. After redeploying those divs together with perhaps some americans (LAPD ) I might had been able to stabilize things, if the Germans are overstressed

Ok!

I'm back from my nervous breakdown after the end of the last campaign. I agree with Tomars summary about the situation that the allies were ahead due to their victories in Italy and Japan.

But how do you define the strength of Germany? I had built troops for 2/3 of my production and researched for 1/3. Only useful air/land/sub techs and of course electronics and industry. All low IC provinces were upgraded. This without losing lots of troops. I think 9 divs in France and 3 in Russia. How can Germany possibly be stronger, except for the lost divisions, at this stage of the campaign?

I also seriously doubt Russia's ability to survive with +100 divisions of higher quality available to attack his remaining 35 divs with some Japanese support as well. I think USSR would have been annexed within 6 months at the latest.

I think the European situation could have been saved with all the available reinforcements from the Eastern front, maybe even Italy could have been put back in the fight. Still with Japan out the US and UK could have concentrated solely on Germany.

We will never know, will we? It was great as long as it lasted.

Seems Japans, Italys and USSR's job is aminly to not get kicked out of the war in an early stage in the 39 campaign. Also UK and USA get terribly strong real fast if they focus on infantry. We have also learned that its not really fair to invite standins and expect them to grasp the situation immediately. I still feel disappointed about the breaking of clear instructions however.

Anyway I'm available to play tonight thursday and thursdays to come this summer. If you are playing tonight you can count me in. I guess we could continue the campaign started after the breakdown of the last one.

It seems that both Tomar and Tuuttu will be playing a game with some Norwegians today, so we would be max 5 players (me, juv, Jon) if Aldo and ArchDuke can make it.

With 5 players we can play if you can get a substitutet, but I am not very comfortable with the idea of the German player (Tomar) being replaced.

Hi all,

I´m just trying to set up a dedicated european game.
In order to become familar with HOI MP i would like to join your game as standin (any minor would be fine for me).
If any major is still free could also join as standard player as 2 games should be no prob for me.
My time zone is GMT and i have cable connection.

My experience with MP so far is an endless attempt to get an EU2 MP-game running Juv95hrn and Archduke could confirm that for sure
